The property was in a great location. Short walk to slopes and main base are and that is about it.
The property looks as though it hasn’t been touched since the 70s. Bathrooms are dirty and old. Not enough hot water for more that one or two showers. Outlets in the bathrooms didn’t work (even after resetting the breakers). HVAC difficult to control. Most of the time we were too hot and couldn’t get it to cool down. Couldn’t use the fireplace because it was too hot.
Laundry is in the common area. It only takes quarters. Make sure you bring about 2 rolls because the front desk didn’t have any.
Kitchen had everything we needed and was functional. However, my wife found what looked to be rodent droppings in the coffee cup. I told her it was dried up hot chocolate, but I do think it was the prior.
The hot tub is in the basement and we found it to be pretty dirty as well. Hair surrounded the exterior drains and air vents covered in mildew.
The heated outdoor pool was great for the kids, but the heater broke and we weren’t able to use it after one night.
If you are going skiing with the boys and don’t care what the place looks like then this is a great spot. This would definitely be an economic option. The only problem is that the price we paid was on par with the Marriott properties. We will go that route next time.
