COASTAL CHARM! Perched atop a scenic bluff next to one of Canada’s top beaches and surrounded by acres of beautiful woodlands, our private cottage is one of Parksville’s most unique properties. You’ll have plenty of space for sprawling out and enjoying the fresh ocean air. SHEL cottage is your quintessential seaside retreat. We are located central to many of the adventures found under Parksville's expansive skies. Ideal for families, couples, friends, golfers, hikers, skiers, and more.

- THE SPACE
SHEL cottage is located in Parksville, B.C. The cottage is private with one level living offering two bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the living room, sleeping 6 comfortably. The kitchen is furnished with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and of course, all you need for coffee each morning! Enjoy your meals together around the dining room table, or take them to the patio for an epic barbecue. We have in-suite laundry. Resort amenities include tennis, pickleball, basketball, volleyball, and a children's playground. It wouldn’t be a vacation without having access to a large outdoor hot tub, and this one is open all year round to as many as 12 guests at a time. During summer months (May long weekend to September), our heated outdoor pool is open (with an average depth of 1.3m/4ft) World-class Rathtrevor Beach – listed as one of Canada’s top 10 beaches – is just a brief walk down the path from our cottage. Spring and summer tides can expose up to a kilometer of warm sand and shallow tide pools. There’s nothing quite like a barefoot walk on silky-smooth sands up to 1000 meters offshore. It’s truly magical.

SHEL Cottage is our special gem in the woods. Guests will have full access to the cottage. Non-sharing.

Please note: our cottage is rented privately and therefore all guest communications must be directed to us and not to the resort office or resort employees.

- Other things to note
Outdoor heated pool and hot tub:
Pool season is late May - late Sep. (weather permitting) and the hot tub is open year-long.
