Relaxing 1 Bedroom Suite - 5 minutes from the beach!

This modern 1 bedroom suite is part of a 4 plex (with other rentals available) in beautiful Parksville, BC, which is within walking distance to the Parksville Community Beach, Englishman River Estuary, restaurants, and shopping. We are a short drive to Coombs Market and Nanaimo City Center. This suite is perfect for all ages with parks nearby and many other amenities.

This suite is newly renovated with an enclosed courtyard for indoor outdoor living.

It was a perfect place to stay while we visited Parksville. The private yard was a bonus and we loved having coffee in the morning sun after a walk to the beach. We didnt use the cooking facilities but there was everything you needed. The bed was comfy, the area quiet and the unit clean. Thank you Rick and Doris for your hospitality - we will be back!

We had a wonderful stay. Check in was easy, the place was spotless and the owners had supplied everything you would need for a terrific stay. There was tinfoil, Saran Wrap, great wine opener and so much more. The bathroom was pristine and had an excellent shower. They also had a luggage shelves in the bedroom which were super handy. The enclosed private yard was perfect for BBQing and enjoying a meal or cocktail outdoors. Rick popped by while I was loading our SUV (they live in Victoria and use the end unit for themselves). He was a super guy easy to talk to but respected your privacy. They also had a binder with some suggestions on things to do etc…It was such a comfortable stay. Just book it!

Clean, friendly hosts and has everything you need

We stayed at Doris and Rick’s place over the holidays. Our stay was wonderful! This is the spot to be if you’re staying in Parksville area. It has a full kitchen with everything you may need, a king sized bed and the hosts clearly care about their guests and their property. Amazing Suite!

What a jem in the center of Parksville. If I could give it 10 stars I would! The suite exceeded all my expectations. Everything that I needed for my stay was available. The soaker tub was a added bonus on the cold rainy nights. Communication was great. I highly recommend this suite. A big Texas thank you to Doris and Rick! #1 on my list for my visits to the Island.

Anniversary Treat

For our 50th Anniversary, my wife and I treated ourselves to a trip to the Island. Our VRBO turned out to be a perfect place to use as a hub for our day trips to various places on the Island. The unit was immaculate and very well appointed/stocked with everything we needed for our stay, even a bbq on the front patio. The king bed was very comfortable and the rain shower head was great. Our host Rick was very friendly and acted quickly on any questions/concerns we had. Unit location was great, only 1 block from main drag, but in a quiet residential area, close to restaurants and grocery stores. We had a black bunny come to visit us on our patio at least once a day! We would recommend the property to any couple or family of 3 or4, and will certainly choose it for our next trip to the area.

Home away from Home

We were in Parksville for my nephews wedding…what a beautiful town and staying at Rick and Doris’s place was just perfect. So fresh and clean. Beautiful decor. Everything you could possibly need they have there for you and if not Rick would be happy to get for you!! The outdoor area is perfect…the bed 🛌 a super comfy…the rain shower is fabulous. We absolutely enjoyed our 3 day stay here and would highly recommend it!! Thanks you guys! Oh also very close to shopping and amenities!
