“Small rooms…little room for two suitcases. Basic but adequate breakfast. Easy location…easier to drive to town center. Good for night before WWII beaches. AC not very strong. Noise could be heard from outside hotel (guests watch TV, horses at vet clinic) and inside (kids on a field trip enjoying the next room over!) Adequate, but nothing special.”

“We had a nice stay at this location, though AC is not typical for most lodging in the area. Because there was no AC, we had to leave the windows open, which let quite a few small flies into our room. However, we really enjoyed the delicious breakfast prepared by the owners.”

“First of all Bayeaux is one of the most charming towns we visited in France. The location of the Declic hotel is the best in town. You are across the street from the weekly massive market. The market was better than most I've seen in big cities--fresh fish, freshly baked bread, fruit and vegetables galore, tons of cooked food, cheese, meats and lots of hot prepared food too. “Ottima struttura e personale gentile. Posizione ottima con parcheggio gratuito di fronte all'hotel. Non è presente l'ascensore ma sono presenti alcune stanze al piano terra.”

“E' STATO COME IL FILM fRANCESE "BENVENUTO AL NORD" quando al sabato si stacca tutto e chissene frega degli altri, basta divertirsi.... l'ost abita li....NELLA STESSA CASA! Tu fai 1500 km, ma devi essere puntuale...perchè se arrivi dopo le 20 dormi in macchina... finchè l'ost non ha finito di fare le sue cose e ritorna a casa... mezza notte l'una...qundo gli viene comodo...”

“The proprietor was was very friendly and the place was amazing with all of the WWII artifacts and material. The place is from around 1850 and filled with charm. This is an immersive experience into the Normandy coast, not a cookie cutter chain hotel. Highly recommend!”
