“It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. “Lovely B and B in a stately, historic house. Marsha is an excellent host. The food is excellent and most comes from their working farm or other WV farms. The surrounding property is beautiful. My room was spacious and comfortable.”

“The stay was good, it was clean though older and the drawers had other peoples old things in them. The beds were super hard which did make the night rough, but a neighbor said his bed was great and soft, so its just one of those things about travel, be prepared, bring your own padding etc. You get what you pay for and this was fine for a night, we felt safe, staff was nice. “Quiet and quaint for a true WV country feel. Close to WVU without the hustle and bustle of being downtown. Check in and check out were hassle free and easy. Great communication from the owners. “We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window.
