Charming week in Paso!

A Must Stay in the Heart of Paso Wine Country
Stunning farmhouse, quiet, private, endless charm with the most beautiful views in the very heart of Paso wine country. A must stay if you want a true Paso experience on a working winery. Beautifully furnished, spacious with every detail accounted for - and breathtaking views all around. This is our second stay at the property - make sure to stroll the vineyard early morning and as the sun goes down at dusk. The views from the very top of the property are breathtaking. Make sure to book a tasting - the experience was one of the best along with the wines! (Thank you Kristen!) You'll feel at home from the minute you arrive. Thank you for giving us more amazing memories to share.

Fabulous Farmhouse and Winery – Unique and Stunning in Every Way
We had the most wonderful three day stay at this unique and stunning property. The Farmhouse is truly one of our greatest finds - it was absolutely spectacular. We had wonderful days touring the wineries and savoring every second of this beautiful home. The deck was amazing to sit in during the mornings, fabulous décor inside to relax in and stunning in every corner. Cooked great meals on the stove and out on the barbeque – stunning views from literally every window. Janis was the loveliest and Pelletiere wines amazing. We can’t wait to return.

Great Location and Fun For All!
I chose this beautiful property for our celebration of my mom's 80th birthday and it did not disappoint! The location is magnificent: from the vineyards that surround the property to the sunrise and sunsets each day, what a visual treat! Inside the Farmhouse was pure comfort (with the exception of the two metal framed leather arm chairs!) The largest bedroom upstairs was spacious, provided abundant storage for clothes and luggage. The staircase is painted black and the light fixture wasn't working which made navigating up or down the stairs a bit difficult. The two bedrooms on the main level were modest in size and were very comfortable with cozy beds and linens. The bedroom with the daybed does not have any place to store your clothes, a small chest of drawers would be a nice addition. The two bathrooms were thoughtfully stocked with essential provisions. I LOVED the old range in the kitchen! We utilized the kitchen everyday for breakfast before we set out to wine taste and we came back each day and prepared wonderful dinners each night. From dining in the spacious dining room or on the deck outside the family room, it was perfect for the four of us. It would have been especially nice to be able to operate the fireplace as we did have rain and the ambience would have been splendid. All in all, we would love to visit this special property again, Janis was so easy to work with and we appreciated her lovely Farmhouse.

Great stay in the heart of wine country
Pretty hard to find a beautiful winery property to yourself. This place is exactly what you’re looking for when coming to Paso. The House is perfect and Janis is a great host. The wines are awesome as well! Highly recommend!

Unique property in a lovely, secluded (but close-in) setting
We absolutely loved the "antique" quality of this carefully renovated and beautiful 110 year old farmhouse! You get classic wine-country history, charming decor, and modern comforts. The front deck was the perfect place to start and end our days, and house itself was very comfortable. We didn't cook any large meals in but we could have. Beautiful views just about everywhere you looked, and a sense of really being in the heart of Paso wine country. Added benefit: we were only about 15 minutes outside of town. Our timing was perfect as the harvest was in progress, so we got to experience the work being done (yes, this is a working winery) to make Pelletiere's excellent estate wines. Make sure to include a visit to their tasting room. I can't imagine a better place to stay and we will be back!

Perfect location!
Staying on a vineyard while visiting Paso Robles cannot be beat. The location was easy driving distance to ocean and vineyards. Farmhouse is just as pictured. The harvest was just beginning so great timing for a visit as you look out upon vines laden with large bunches of grapes from your patios, living and bedrooms. Fun four night getaway!

Perfect Location and Winery
The Location is perfect for a quiet getaway, or just minutes from town for dinning. Close to any winery we want to visit. Comfortable and well decorated surrounded by the vineyard. Plus, you have to do a tasting here! You won’t be disappointed!

Wonderful Property
The Farmhouse is cozy, well appointed, well situated and with beautiful surroundings. It is the perfect place for 4-6 persons, with easy access to highway 46, Vineyard Drive and all the nearby wineries—including Pelletiere, in which property it is located. Highly recommended.

It was a great space, well designed, conveniently close to wineries including the vineyards in the backyard! Host was most accommodating with small requests including our unexpected late arrival. Would definitely go back so much so I don't know why I'm writing this glowing review for others to book it up, never mind I take it all back - you should avoid this property at all costs ;)

Quintessential wine country accommodation
This charming house couldn't be better appointed, smack dab in a vineyard with spectacular views from every window. Janis is a wonderful proprietor and took care of our every need including giving us a bottle of her Dorothy Jean chardonnay. Because this property is in the country, our afternoon walks were shaded by live oaks and meandered past goats and live stock. A special place indeed! We look forward to coming back.

Another Amazing Stay!
My husband and I came across the Farmhouse while looking for a change of scenery in June 2020, and it exceeded our expectations. It was so special, we wanted to experience it again and share it with our loved ones. We spent a wonderful 4 days/nights in the Farmhouse to celebrate our 10th anniversary and our parents' 55th anniversary. Janis is an amazing host, the winery is stunningly beautiful and peaceful, and the Farmhouse is the perfect mix of cozy and chic. The only issue is that the time always flies by too quickly. We rarely go back to the same place twice (so much to see/do, so little time), but would happily make the Pelletiere Farmhouse an annual treat!

Beautiful vineyard stay
A beautiful farmhouse at a wonderful winery. We particularly enjoyed that it’s on a quiet road, so there’s very little traffic or noise, just birds singing and the sway of oak trees. The views of the surrounding vineyards are just stunning, and the gardens surrounding the house are really beautiful and well kept. We were transported to Italy! The house is very comfortable, with everything you need. The bedrooms are on separate floors and have their own bathrooms so nice privacy for 2 couples. Highly recommend!!

Property & house is beautiful - well situated and close to wineries. Host is on site during day and responsive to questions/ issues as needed. In addition, there are important details would recommend be added to the listing: 1) Water is not drinkable - guests need to bring their own bottled water. 2) The house is parallel to the tasting room & directly next to an additional rental house. House & deck are not exactly private. 3) Washer / Dryer not located in house 4) BBQ is part of the tasting room patio / not directly situated at house 5) The stove / electrical / and plumbing is old (antique home) and you should be very careful when using

I’m very surprised at your rating, it certainly appeared that you and friends enjoyed the house very much. Showing up with an unannounced 5th guest certainly could have impacted your overall experience.

Great stay!
Great overall experience with lovely views of the vineyard, especially at sunset. The house has a lot of old school charm but is well appointed with updates where needed. Janet was a great host and due to COVID, we did our sole wine tasting of the weekend with her and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is perfect for a quiet, relaxing weekend away. I don't know if it is due to the location, but the wifi isn't particularly strong and there is no video streaming (e.g. Netflix) so if you need more than cable TV, you may need to bring a movie or two or bring other things to occupy your time in the evenings.

Perfect Rain or Shine Get-Away
This lovely home is even lovelier than the photographs suggest. We enjoyed walking through the vines, gathering in the living room, having lunch on the outside patio, playing games in the dining room, and snuggling into the beautiful linens on the just-right beds. An added bonus was the vintage range, which works like a charm. Oh, and the wine! We hope to visit again soon.

Gorgeous property that feels miles away from it all but isn't much off the main road. Lovely touches, comfortable, high end furnishings. Small things to note: bring a lot of water for drinking and coffee. The water is not suitable to drink. Could use more towels, washclothes.

Lovely vineyard property!
My family stayed here over the weekend and loved this property. If you dream of sitting on a porch looking over peaceful vineyards this is the place for you! The home has wonderful decorative touches for a very welcoming and relaxing feel. We loved our cuddles with “grey kitty” while sitting on the quiet patio (even “orange kitty” warmed up to us), star gazing in the evening, morning walks by the vines, wine tasting at nearby vineyards as well as Pelletiere...plus dinner and shopping downtown. The kitchen has a wonderful vintage feel with the oven to go along with the farmhouse vibe, I was a little scared to use the oven but it was actually quite cool and efficient! Janis is a great host and made us feel so welcome.

Already booked for next year!
So perfect! The farmhouse was beautiful & comfortable. In 3 days we never had to get in our car because so many other wineries are within walking distance, not to mention staying at a beautiful winery & wine tasting 20 feet from the house. GIRL FRIEND FUN
Perfect three bedroom charming cottage with a beautiful large deck over looking the vineyards. The wine tasting on property was a great experience. Many more wineries close by as well. Very private and peaceful country setting that is close to the city of Paso Robles for dining.

Beautiful Paso house in the vineyard!
The four of us had a wonderful stay at the property. Beautiful views. Would have liked to have sat out in the late afternoon but gets very windy. Couple suggestions… Maybe a bottle of the vineyard wine to welcome to stay and a few more towels for the bathrooms.

Rare gem
We had the most wonderful time sipping wine out on the deck overlooking the beautiful vineyards!! The Farmhouse is beautiful y decorated, immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. Janis, our hostess is amazing and showed us elegant hospitality and responded at a moments notice to any questions we had. We would have stayed longer if it had not been previously booked. Lovely Rental in Great Paso Robles Location
This farm house is absolutely lovely. It is located within the property of the Pelletiere tasting room, so tasting their lovely wines is very convenient. Most importantly, it's a great Paso Robles location, right in the vineyards, but 10 minutes from downtown. You can sit in the deck and watch the day pass looking at vineyards, drinking wine and enjoying a taste of Paso living. 2 very nicely appointed rooms and lots of grounds to walk around. Janis was a great hostess who takes great care of all the details. Highly recommend.

Country Living at its best
Perfect location for wine country. Appreciated the sheep and the nice bottle of wine that welcomed us. Good communication with owner. Relaxing sunny deck. Finicky electricity, skunk smell and lack of laundry detracted from otherwise great experience.

Thank you for your review.. the house was build in the 1890’s, fully remodeled in 2014, however it’s still old construction in many ways, but so worth the history! So,....plugging in extras in the kitchen CAN overload the system. The house is surrounded by estate vineyards, vineyards are full of nature which includes wildlife, we believe it truly belong to them, and we’re the guests on the property.

Four of us stayed at The Farmhouse at Janis’ winery and vineyard and it was every bit of paradise. The house is impeccable and beautifully decorated with upscale furnishings and plush linens. Wine Country Getaway
Beautiful westside getaway located inside a gated winery and grapevine property. Janice was an amazing host. We sat on the back deck every night, drinking wine and looking at the stars only a few feet from rows of grapevines. Perfect location if you want a place to stay while visiting the various wineries in the Paso Robles area.

Wow! What a beautiful location! We could not have asked for a more beautiful place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary! If I could give you one piece of advise it would be... Stay here! The farmhouse was beautiful, the views were amazing, and Janis’ hospitality was incredible! In addition to the beautiful farmhouse, we found that Pelletiere was our favorite winery of the ones that we visited. Janis is so knowledgeable and passionate about the wines that are produced on site and it is reflected in every glass! What a treat it was to sit on the porch and drink a bottle of wine while looking out on the vines that produced it. This truly is a paradise. We will be back!

Peaceful and beautiful
What better way to relax than in the middle of a vineyard. Beautifully decorated farmhouse and amazing views. Janis Pelletiere Denner is a wonderful host and her excellent wine is a bonus.

A relaxing stay among the vines
The restored 1890s farmhouse has been lovingly renovated and is comfortably appointed. It sits among the vines at Pelletiere Estate Vineyard & Winery adjacent to the winery and tasting room. A cottage is located nearby and both are surrounded by well-tended gardens. My husband and I prepared breakfast in the mornings and enjoyed a leisurely cup of coffee on the deck, which reaches beyond the living room and dining room. One evening we grilled salmon. The nights are quiet and the birds will sing to you during the day. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom are spacious, beautifully appointed and come with sweeping views of the surrounding vineyards. You really get a sense of country life, but the drive for groceries is very short. The farmhouse is so relaxing you might not want to leave to do more wine tasting. We look forward to returning. We enjoyed a restful, two-day stay as guests of the owner.

It truly is Gorgrous
We spent three nights in this stunning home. We enjoyed the deck every morning and every evening, it was spectacular. The house is well appointed, spacious for 4, comfortable ... we didn’t want to leave.

A slice of heaven on a vineyard!
The house is amazing and well appointed. Cozy and comfortable with some of the best views from the house we have ever seen. Janis is very accommodating and made this Valentines trip for my wife and I very special.

Loved our stay!
We love this farmhouse! We've stayed before and will go back again--it's beautifully furnished, very comfortable with a view out every window. The house is next to the Pelletiere tasting room, but it's far enough away that you are not disturbed by visitors. Janis, the owner is very accommodating, and if you need anything, she'll bring it to you. We loved taking walks up through the vines and watching the sunset in the evenings. When the weather is warm you can open the French doors and sit out on the deck and watch the world go by. And then, of course, there are the goats--Vio, Sangio & ? who come and visit--and then there's the wine. It's a lovely place to stay. The only downside is you can't use the fireplace or drink the water, but the wine more than makes up for that!

Thank you for your wonderful review. We love having your family visit! Our grapes thrive on the calcareous shale rock that’s in our soil, unfortunately those same minerals make our water which is pumped up from the underground water supply, undrinkable due to the high amounts of minerals. The entire west side of Paso has the same conditions. Most people don’t drink from the faucets these days and therefore bottled water is supplied to start your stay. We’re working on a safe way to use our little fireplace.. it’s too small for anything pellet burning. Wood burning is not good for the environment and we’re very cautious of sparks, since we’re surrounded by vineyards, not just ours but our neighbors as well.

A slice of heaven in Paso Robles! A stunning home, breathtaking views and an outstanding winery!
When you drive through the gates of the Peletierre Winery/Farmhouse, you immediately know you’re in a very special place! The proprietor, Janis, greets you with her welcoming smile and invites you to join her in the tasting room. We enjoyed a flight of her wines, produced by Janis and a well known wine maker, Amy Butler - and when I say enjoyed, I mean savored every sip as these are truly exceptional wines. We bought a case of everything we tried and were excited to join the Peletierre wine club! Now, onto our stay at the Farmhouse. As we stepped into the kitchen of the Farmhouse, we immediately felt at home and in love with it. Janis thoughtfully provided us a bottle of her Zinfandel, which we enjoyed that evening as we prepared a family dinner “at home” that night. The home is well layed out for four people to enjoy themselves, while also feeling as if they have privacy. The dining room has a long wooden table with seating for 6, with French doors leading to a deck with seating - perfect for enjoying a glass of wine at the end of the day, watching the sun set behind the mountains and estate vineyards. The living room is beautifully decorated, and is warm and inviting. Leather sofas and chairs face another set of French doors to the deck overlooking acres of vineyards, and the outdoor “living room”. Throw blankets of various sizes/textures are found throughout the house, which is not only visually delightful, it ensured we were cozy as we sat and read or chatted about our fabulous day of wine tasting. Carefully curated personal touches throughout the home, make it feel like you’re staying in your best friend’s home. Each bedroom is well put together and absolutely beautiful. Again, the design is well thought out, inviting and cozy. The master bedroom is expansive, with views of the estate vineyard from two windows. Two chairs on the other side of the bed, allow for a couple to relax, read and enjoy some quiet time before bed. On the other side of the stairwell there is a gorgeous master bathroom with double sinks, a large shower and plenty of natural light. The Turkish towels provided by Janis were intriguing and we loved reading about them in the framed description. This home continued to delight us throughout our memorable stay in Paso Robles. We are still talking about it, and plan to make the beautiful Peletierre Farmhouse and Winery a regular weekend getaway, and our annual post holiday family gathering!
