“Good impression ”

“Arriving from a red eye flight and was allowed to check in early with no extra fee was wonderful. The breakfast (for an extra fee) is great value, and offers choices from continental to full-cooked meals. There's always a cold water drinking station (always clean) to welcome us as it was quite humid and hot when we were there. Definitely returining to this hotel as we have relatives in the area. ”

“Perfect location for a Newport visit without being downtown. The shuttle service is a huge plus. Restaurants in the area are walkable (1/2 mile) as well the beach and Cliff walk. Room was good, bed comfortable and good water pressure in the shower. Would stay here again. ”

This hotel is in a beautiful historic mansion on the ocean inlet and a is short walk to the oceanfront state park. The staff is helpful and eager to please, reminiscent of other top tier hotels. The massive oceanside lawn has many Adirondack style chairs to enjourage outdoor rest or socializing. There are indoor and outdoor bars that accomidate every taste even non-alcoholic...
