Red Roof Inn Gastonia
This a old hotel, but very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. No breakfast is offered but the Pancake House across the parking serves a great breakfast. The low price makes this an excellent choice.

Our room smelled like pets. In particular it smelled like a dog kennel. I have allergies and it caused me to become very congested and made me sneeze a lot. There was a terribly loud and persistent noise coming from the thermostat and heat/cool unit in our room. It started up about every five minutes ...

Comfort Inn Kings Mountain
Tub was not clean. Room did not smell fresh. Room was only cleaned once in 4 days. Back door was broken so anyone could enter.
