I did make a booking for chalet number 321 in Goodersoon resort but unfortunalely i was disappointed about no internet no DSTV no phone even i did request several times in reception but nothing done.

We always appreciate hearing feedback about the experience that we provide, and your comments have been taken to heart.With apologies, unfortunately this is the time of the year (November until late March) that we are experiencing thunderstorms and, severe lightning or electrical storms. I am confident that you are well aware of the flooding of the surrounding areas (Ladysmith, Dundee and other areas). Due to this, our satellite communication devices had been damaged and although equipment and cables were ordered, most companies only open again from the 15th January. We hope to see you at Gooderson Natal Spa Hot Springs & Leisure Resort again soon!Kind regards

Amazing place for kids
The stay was amazing for the kids as there were a lot of activities all day long. I think they need to do updates on the units as they are dated.

The pools and stuff was ok and fun The room was not so clean ,especially the bathroom and the staff didnt help us with things we needed They also had horse riding but when it was our turn to go ,they said we had to make an appointment

The good news is that we are busy with renovation some of our bathrooms at the moment. Apologies that your bathroom was not cleaned as expected. I always getting good compliments regarding our staff, so again, I'm not sure what happened that staff didn't want to assist you.Unfortunately, horse ridings need to be booked. We certainly hope to be welcoming you back soon.

It was wonderful....just as it was when i was last there 45 years ago...i would gladly go back again ...But the roads where horrendous to say the least coming from the durban side...the potholes were unbearable... I love Natal Spa. Thank you .would love to see you again...if the roads improve.

Disappointed
Just stayed the 1 night out of the 3 that we booked, place needs a major upgrade, booked a 4 sleeper chalet.the hiking trails are neglected, was only able to use the green trail.very boring atmosphere,the 2 positives from this place was the food from Bistro and the friendly staff.

Enjoyable stay
We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel, grounds and pools are in a lovely condition. Very friendly and helpful staff. The Bistro can do with better service - too long wait to be served.

I found the resort to be very unorganised. From the delay at check in. To rooms not being made up timeously. The food was definitely substandard and need improvement. They could not cope with the busy period. Linen not available timeously. Pool towels not available

Upgrade desperately needed!
Facilities are not maintained and in desperate need of a make-over! Breakfast buffet was good and a highlight, but the rest a major disappointment. The Spa area was dirty and old, the hotel building is not maintained and except for the breakfast buffet, the other meals offered were a major disappointment.

Had a lovely time. Staff were absolutely friendly. My kids could be on their own without me worrying about their safety. Will definitely be visiting again.

Halfway Stop Durban - Kruger National Park
I used this as a halfway stop from Durban to Kruger National Park (Skukuza). 4hrs from Durban (non stop). 5hrs to Skukuza (Non Stop). Overall it has dated or old feel. In saying that the place is well kept. My room was clean. The bathroom was clean, not modern, telephone cord shower with no shower curtain for the tub. Make sure to get here with some time to enjoy the hot pools. Good facilities for children, putt putt, water slides, pools, etc. Excellent buffet breakfast

Gooderson Natal Spa... very disappointing.
Although we requested well in advance, our Vegetarian needs were not met. The room cleanliness left a lot to be desired. I was bitten by bugs in the room. Evidence shown to Mrs Muller. We took the time before departure to share our concerns /constructive feedback with Mrs Muller ( Resort Manager)who promised to give us email feedback however a month later, this has not been received. Cannot help but wonder if this is the standard of customer service at All Gooderson Resorts??? We and all our friends /family will not stay at your Resorts.

Rooms Needs some attention & fumigation.
The facilities was great, however the room needs to be vacuumed & sprayed. Something had bitten my entire family. Also noticed that the beds were not dusted on the 2nd night as there was chips in the bed that my kids dropped from the previous night. That tells you a lot. The service from the staff at the restaurant sucked. From breakfast to Bistro. It was very bad. To wait for eggs, you literally wait 20 minutes, that is madness. The Bistro was the same, no servietes given sauces, and when you ask for something they just make their faces funny. The service at the pool bar was excellent.

Reception staff were very helpful and friendly with accommodating us with our son in a wheel chair. Breakfast and dinner was good. Self catering room was a bit old and needs to be upgraded. Bathroom not good standard.

Lot of hype but under delivered
From the time I phoned to confirm the reservation to checking in, the staff was not friendly nor smiled. On checking in, no credit authorisation was requested nor taken which lead to being chased for payment after each service. Eventually I requested that they run credit authorisation on my credit card but had to walk around with a 'credit approved' piece of paper. The famous hot springs were lukewarm at best. Overall, I was disappointed and have no plan of going back.
