Vista panoramica sull'oceano e vista diretta sull'alba. Riserve naturali e sentiero accanto e nelle vicinanze. Lontano dal traffico turistico ma comodo per ristoranti, circolo velico, shopping, ecc.

La casa è stata costruita nel 2005. Immacolato con nuovi mobili. Casa unica con 36 finestre che sfruttano la vista da quasi ogni stanza.

Il secondo piano ha una camera da letto principale e un bagno con vasca e area salotto al piano superiore. Viste incredibili. Queen Sleeper in camera al piano inferiore con mezzo bagno. Terzo letto singolo trasformabile in zona notte. Patio sull'oceano con grill a gas collegato al serbatoio di propano della casa.

La casa riceve l'acqua della baia di Sebago da Portland, che è eccellente durante la stagione calda. Refrigeratore d'acqua refrigerato e acqua fornita. Durante i mesi invernali / freddi la casa viene fornita con acqua di pozzo. È salato e abbastanza buono per fare il bagno. Troppo salato per bere ma completamente sicuro. Il lavandino ha un filtro desalinizzante.

Peaks Island è una delle decine di isole situate nella baia di Casco e nell'Oceano Atlantico. È il più accessibile a Portland e l'unico servito con il traghetto per auto. Riteniamo che sia uno dei più abbelliti e sicuramente il più vivibile e conveniente per Portland. I traghetti partono da Portland ogni ora circa dalle 6 a. m. quasi a mezzanotte. Ci sono traghetti ogni ora per auto 7 giorni alla settimana. Il programma varia di giorno in giorno e in base al mese. La corsa in traghetto è estremamente panoramica e solo 15 minuti sull'acqua.

Per raggiungere la casa prendere il traghetto con il proprio veicolo o senza. C'è un servizio Taxi molto affidabile per 3 dollari a persona a casa che soddisfa ogni traghetto. Avrai una panoramica di 2 miglia in auto per la proprietà intorno a Seashore Drive. Ad alcuni piace noleggiare un carrello da golf vicino al molo dei traghetti. Noleggio biciclette sono disponibili vicino al molo. Ce ne sono anche due da usare a casa.

The location of this property is absolutely stunning. The ocean views are amazing, we saw multiple eagles, and Peaks Island is so peaceful. It was great that I could bring my dog, and check in was very easy.

Beautiful Maine getaway!

Really enjoyed the property and it is located beautifully along the rocky shore of the bay. Our first day was at the end of a big heat wave and the house only has one small A/C unit that we couldn’t figure out how to make work. Fortunately, the house cooled off quickly that night and we enjoyed leaving the windows open for the rest of the stay. Master bed is positioned perfectly to enjoy listening to the ocean and morning sunrises. The ferry to and from the island takes time (sometimes you have to arrive an hour or so early), patience, and money to navigate. Transporting a vehicle costs 150 per round trip. We would’ve like to have known more of these details in advance. Otherwise, the house was great, the location was beautiful, and we really enjoyed the trip. We were visited multiple times by wild turkeys roaming the yard.

Amazing House, with Amazing Views!

We loved our stay at Ocean Spray Rd, this house is beautiful and cosy, ( we stayed in late Autumn ) is is so well stocked, with every possible need met. From a fantastic range of hair care and skincare products, if I’d forgotten my own, to plentiful filtered water for our use. I just can’t find enough words to explain how perfect it is here, an absolute idyll, away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, ( we started our journey in NYC, after travelling out from the UK ) We didn’t leave the island during our 4 night stay, with the views and the house being quite enough for our needs. Book with Nikki for a wonderful vacation experience. Easy to access the property, and great communication should you need any help.

Stunning

Such a stunning setting. Beautiful home right at the ocean. This home is truly a bright spot on the island of Peaks. We lounged in the sun on the back lawn looking out across a beautiful ocean. The interior is fresh and the huge windows proved over and over again to draw to the ocean. Maximum Refreshing Experience.

SPECTACULAR VIEWS FROM EVERY WINDOW!!!

This is a very attractive, well-furnished, clean, comfortable house. But what it's really all about is the view! And what a view! The house has been expertly designed with huge windows to take full advantage of the expanse of sky and rocks and water just feet away. Many of the windows, on all sides, are casement (i.e., crank-out), which allows you take full advantage of the heavenly breezes and the soothing sound of the waves hitting the rocks. Even the shower has a world-class, full-horizon view, with a crank-out window. As a matter of fact, this is the most spectacular shower, with the most spectacular view, I have ever seen. A true stunner! If you are looking for a place to unwind, to commune with an incomparable Maine seascape, to sit quietly while contemplating sunlight on water and the sound of water hitting rocks, this is the place for you. It may just heal your soul.

Gorgeous views

As many reviewers have said, this house has gorgeous views of the water - and a lovely patio outside to relax near the water. You have to go through the master bedroom to get to the full bathroom-which worked ok for us since there is a half bath downstairs. Just FYI - the bedroom downstairs is off the living room, and has sliding doors to the outside. We enjoyed the house and the island. There can be long waits for the car ferry to get on and off the island (3-hour wait on Monday morning)

Beautiful Sunrise

The house was clean and well maintained. You cannot find a better view, located right on the water with stunning views, especially sunrises if you wake up early. We were traveling with two young kids and found the sleeping arrangements somewhat difficult for their ages (1&4). The second bedroom is off the living space with noise easily traveling. This made it difficult to spend much time in the living room after we put her to bed. We managed best parents can and would still return to this house.
