The Space:
Located up the hill from the world-famous Pebble Beach Lodge, Pebble Beach's rquero is an exquisitely designed modern-design home is a fabulous Pebble Beach retreat. The property welcomes Guests and Visitors with a grand entrance, spacious driveway, two-car garage, and beautiful landscaping.

Inside, you are greeted by a stunning open floor plan featuring a living room with a huge fireplace, a chef's kitchen, and a dining area, all overlooking the expansive back deck and ocean views beyond.

The village of Carmel-by-the-Sea charms visitors with forested streets and the old English inspired architecture of Hugh Comstock that looks as if it would be at home in the pages of a Fairy Tale. Carmel City Beach is famous for its beautiful white-sand, dog-friendly beach and surfing. County of Monterey Transient Occupancy Registration Certificate # 001326 Monterey County Ordnance requires we collect Transient Occupancy Tax equal to 10.5% of rent. Some Vacation Rental websites do not support collection of T.O.T. In those cases, the Tax must be paid directly to Property Manager prior to or upon arrival for all Rentals shorter than 30 Days. In order to maintain proper security for owners, guests and contractors, the exterior of this property has electronic surveillance equipment and the property owners may conduct monitoring and surveillance activities. Electronic surveillance shall not be installed inside the home; however, doors to the exterior may be covered by electronic surveillance. Monthly rental rates are discounted to reflect that guests booking reservations of more than 28 days are required to pay Gas, Electric and Water Utilities in addition to the quoted rental rate.

Great House

This is a very nice home in a lovely setting. And the owner has outfitted and equipped the house nicely. The beds/bedding are awesome. Nice towels, cookware, brand new pool table and related equipment, beautiful TV’s all over, etc. However, there were a few things that should not have been for this level of property/price. The property has a dual-drawer dishwasher. One half of it doesn’t work. There are a few fireplaces in the home, all but one, there is no hardware installed, so they’re unusable. The one in the master bedroom is operational, but it doesn’t work properly. In one of the bathrooms, water leaks onto and across the floor when the shower is used. It’s going to cause serious damage to the floor if it isn’t fixed. The next door neighbor is doing hardscape work and on our last day, all day, there were workers right outside the house with jack hammers. Minor issues, but made worse by the property managers. They should be aware of these issues and inform the renter. The property manager did a nice job of meeting us on arrival and giving us an orientation, and promised to be available should we need anything. Well, mid-stay we messaged them asking for help with that fireplace, and then again on the last day to tell them about the leaky shower and construction going on. They never even replied; the only comms we got back after that was an automated message RE checking out of the house. At 2,500 per night a certain level of service is expected.
