Alte Stellmacherei „Päl“ | Historisches Reetdachhaus
The ‘Päl’ holiday apartment is located in the listed Old Wheelwright's Workshop – a thatched house on the dyke, whose origins date back to 1850. Covering around 135 m², it is spread over two floors with three separate bedrooms – ideal for families or groups of friends. The impressive stone floor of the former workshop and original wooden beams characterise the rooms and lend the ambience an authentic North Frisian atmosphere.
Nestled on the old Junkersmitteldeich (built in 1634), you can enjoy peace and quiet in the ‘Päl’ holiday apartment with views over the green marshland to the dyke. The harbour, spa centre and shopping facilities are only about 1 km away – ideal for day trips, mudflat walks and bike rides. The lighthouse is about 3 km away.
The holiday apartment is located in a listed thatched house with original wooden beams and stone floors. In typical Frisian style, there are many small rooms on two floors, so that the whole family can stay together, but everyone can also find their own place to retreat to.
The 16 m² wooden terrace is brand new, where you can enjoy the sunset or listen to nature while your children explore the large, sheltered garden area on the other side of the house.
Special features:
• Historic thatched cottage on the Junkersmitteldeich from 1634
• Original wooden beams from 1850 and stone floors from the old workshop
