The grounds are beautifully kept with plenty of places to walk. The buffet breakfast was included in our booking and again was very tasty and had a great selection. “We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. ”

“There is misleading information on Expedia. The hotel advertises a local cuisine breakfast included, but in reality, breakfast is a basic continental breakfast served in your room. It also advertises a super king bed, but this is actually two single beds pushed together, which was disappointing. The food at the pub was average and did not live up to the high ratings, making us question the authenticity of some of the reviews. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast.
