“I stayed about 4 nights here with Lorenzo and Jiani. Had a nice relaxing time. Had my own surf equipment so didn't want surf lessons.But one of the Guy's dropped me to the beach each morning and some afternoons also. Its approximately 4km walk which i did a few times Good beach with a nice cafe and a couple of bar/restaurants. There's a communal kitchen on the property which i used for meals. Its possible to get there by public bus but give yourself plenty of time for connections etc. ”

“The Villa Marina Hotel is an older property with only nine rooms. Overall the property is nice and well maintained. With the price they can’t invest a great amount in the infrastructure and stay in business. The grass area would benefit from expansion, this would reduce mud; between mud and black sand the room and patio get a bit dirty. Also a stone or brick base near the outside shower would be good. In a perfect world, bricks to the beach. The rocks are sharp. The food menu is somewhat...

“The hotel was just perfect. The location is incredible. The staff is extremely nice and polite, super friendly and ready to help you. The room looks exactly like the pictures and it was spotless. The food at the restaurant is excellent. I could not have chosen a better place. Will come back.”
