“The hosts, Elaine and Alan, went out of their way to make my stay super comfortable. The room was lovely and also quiet. The hosts were welcoming and very helpful. Alan even, very kindly, drove me to the railway station in the morning”

“Rooms were very clean and ensuite we only stayed 1 night as a stop over and would use again, a large communal kitchen and tv room even though there were tvs in the rooms, very quiet and relaxung ”

“Nicole and Malcolm make Craigmount so special. Book themed bedrooms to reflect Wigtown, and a lovely sitting room to read or eatch TV. Our double bedded room with ensuite overlooked the garden. The room was quite compact, and made more so by our largish suitcases. If you have big bags, perhaps book a family room. All the rooms are accessible via stairs. The pre-ordered breakfast was freshly cooked and wonderful. Dinner options in town or nearby were limited, except to drive, especially mid-week....

“Great stay! Really friendly Staff. Restaurant very classy and excellent food with a good variety. I was leaving very early the next morning, a lovely wee bag of treats was waiting at reception.”
