Coastal Cottage | Pet Friendly, Private Pool + Short Walk to the Beach!

Coastal Cottage is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom pet friendly home in Pensacola Beach, Florida that offers a private pool (can be heated for an additional fee) and a short walk to the beach. Situated in a laid-back neighborhood, this home gives you both a relaxed environment and a convenient drive to everything Pensacola has to offer.

Coastal Cottage will instantly put you in a good mood with its hardwood floors, calming décor, and abundance of natural light. The living room offers comfortable couches centered around a large Smart TV making it the perfect place to relax after a day at the beach. The dining area offers seating for four with additional seating at the breakfast bar overlooking the kitchen. For meal prep, the well-appointed kitchen is a chef’s delight with its stainless steel appliances and bright, roomy atmosphere.

This home can sleep up to nine guests comfortably with three bedrooms and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Each of the bedrooms offers Smart TVs, so you can watch your favorite programs in your own space. There is an included washer/dryer with your rental to help you keep up with your laundry. Coastal Cottage is also snowbird friendly for those who desire an extended stay during the winter months.

This rental is located 100 yards from the beach, an easy walk. When you aren’t spending time at the beach take a dip in the private pool. From this location you will be around 10 miles from Pensacola, giving you almost limitless activity, dining and attraction options. The Pensacola Beach Trolley offers free rides from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day to help make getting around the area a breeze.

Clean Coverlet Program: This property provides fresh and clean bed linens, including comforters and coverlets, laundered prior to every check-in. Please note there are exterior cameras on the West wall down stairs over trash cans overlooking drive way and exterior camera on Southern wall down stairs aimed towards driveway and stairs to front door.

I appreciated having good quality pots and a crock pot to cook with. We stayed for a month so having an extra dish towel would have been helpful. You have a regular coffee maker and a Keurig. When it is windy, you will hear a lot of noise. The sofas are very comfortable and loved the wrap around deck to allow us to sit in front or in back, depending on where the sun was. I appreciated the closeness to the beach. It was an easy walk.

Great house/location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! House was well kept and pool was perfect. Kids loved the pool lights at night. Very short walk to the beach - especially if you have to run back to the house for something. Great location for restaurants.

If I could give this stay lower than 1 star I would.

My family and I stayed at the property during the blue angels show and what proceeded can only be described as an absolute shambles. The property manager is not doing justice for the owner. I paid for the swimming pool to be heated. Granted the pool was heated, but it was heated to 95 degrees (I have photos of the temperature and the red heat marks it left all over my children) It took 3 days to cool down so was barely usable during our stay. There were ants EVERYWHERE, the master shower did not work, the Internet was not working, the gas stove was not working, Landscapers turned up during our stay and made a complete mess, blowing sandspurs all over the property resulting in injury to my 4 year olds foot and completely filling the aforementioned barely usable pool with debris. I had asked that the property management company have a manager call me because the operatives that answered the phone were absolutely incompetent, I never received a call from a manager The stay was so bad we spent zero time in the property and were lucky enough to have friends locally that could accommodate us during the weekend I will be seeking a full refund, be it through VRBO or Amex. I would seriously consider erring on the side of caution before booking this property with the current management!
