60th birthday celebrations

Fantastic from start to finish. All rooms gorgeous. Comfy beds & all with a private bathroom! Gardens beautiful, breakfast everyday overlooking the beach! Wine last thing at night. Local pubs great & within easy reach. Tip: if there’s going to be a good sunset walk along Maria’s Lane towards lands end thru an iron gate & watch the sunset from the stones. WOW

We love this house and return year after year. The host is lovely - very communicative and helpful. The house is well equipped, comfortable and full of character set in a beautiful vantage point to look down on Sennen Cove and also to watch the sunset. The garden is large and rambling and the kids love it. Highly recommend.

Traumhafter Urlaub

Dieses wunderschöne Cottage können wir nur in den höchsten Tönen loben. Es ist wunderschön, perfekt ausgestattet, es fehlte uns an nichts. Und der Ausblick ist atemberaubend. Egal ob der Kaffee am Morgen oder der Aperitif am Abend ist mit diesem Ausblick ein absolutes Highlight. Wir (5 Erwachsene und 3 Teenager) haben den Urlaub wahnsinnig genossen und kommen gerne wieder. Die Kommunikation mit Jules war hervorragend und es wurden alle Wünsche erfüllt. Wir können diese Unterkunft bestens empfehlen.

Beeinduckendes Haus trohnend über Sennen

Es war sehr toll! Das Haus war riesig und renoviert. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt!! Wir konnten kochen, waschen, trocknen, Feuer machen, in den Garten sitzen,... Das Haus hat sehr viel Charme und ist auch schon sehr alt und hat gewiss viele spannende Geschichten zu erzählen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und alles wurde stilgetreu genoviert. Theoretisch hat das Haus eine der tollsten Aussichten die man sich vorstellen kann. Nur leider sah man diese im Haus nicht wirklich, nur wenn man sich direkt ans Fenster lehnte. Denn die sind sehr klein und sitzen hoch. Das Haus ist eher rustikal mit dem alten knarzenden Dielenboden und hellhörig da wohl die Geschossen nur ein Dielenboden trennt, erwas feucht. Aber wir waren nur mit 3 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern im Haus, das ging dann :-) super war der extra Wohntrakt den unser Freund bewohnte, dann hatte er etwas Privatsphäre. Und der Treffpunkt in der Mitte war die Küche. Der extra Wohntrakt hatte eine eigene Eingangstüre, Bad, Klo und Schlafzimmer mit super Ausblick ind ein Dachfenster über dem Bett wo man die Sterne beobachten konnte. Er hatte auch als einziges bodentiefe Fenster für vollen Ausblick. Netlix oder viel TV Sender gab es nicht, aber dafür eine interessante Büchersammlung :-) auf jeden Fall alles insgesamt eine tolle Erfahrung!

Beautiful Cottage

Esther’s Field is the perfect cottage to enjoy the south Cornwall coast. The cottage is really well equipped with comfortable beds, cosy rooms and the most amazing views. We spent a really happy week here and would love to come back

Beautiful house with amazing view

We had a wonderful stay at Esthers field. Driving up the drive upto the beautiful thatched farmhouse was a wow! Once out of the car, the view over Sennen cove was even more wow. The house is beautiful with a lot of character which the In-laws loved! The rooms are very spacious & cosy, the beds were very comfortable and everyone slept well. Shame we couldnt have spent more time in the beautiful gardens due to the very wincy /wet weather! Would highly recommend this as your next stay at sennen cove. Thank you Jules x

Coastal idyll

We have stayed at Esther’s Field a number of times now. The gardens are beautiful and spacious and our boys love exploring there. It’s a short (though steep) stroll down to the beach and the pictures, stunning as they are, don’t do it justice. And what a pleasure to meet Jules in person, who was welcoming and considerate. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

An unforgettable holiday

Esther’s Field is in a perfect location for experiencing the magnificence of Sennen Cove. It was a joy to wake up each morning to hear - and see the sea, and to sit in the sun in the garden. We were very lucky with the weather! The house, especially the kitchen and sitting/dining room are well equipped with ample space for eating together and relaxing in the evening after a long day on the beach or walking on the cliffs.

Location, space,

Fantastic location walkable to the beach with amazing views over the bay and sunset. Spacious, homely, well cared for property. Kitchen full of useful items, walking books and reading books on the living room shelves. Great communication from Jules. Thankyou!

Fantastic location and very perfect house

This thatched cottage is so pretty! The main reason is that the location is very good, go to the attractions and to the beach seem to be a step away. In addition, the front and back of the house are full of flowers, and you can watch the sea both inside and outside the house, which makes people feel relaxed and happy. The host is very nice! Before leaving, she gave us a letter to take care of everyone. When we got there, we received a Welcome bag, which was prepared with milk, coffee, tea bags, detergent, soap, and was very warm and considerate. We drove nearly 5 hours to arrive, Everyone is tired, but beautiful, stylish, and the wonderful house facing the sea on three sides is our warm home From this house. It takes 22 minutes walk to the Lands End (6 minutes by car). After dinner, we go there to watch the sunset. It seems to be a fairyland on earth. It only takes 13 minutes drive to the Minack Theatre ,The garden and sea view in the theater are very exciting. My son and his wife went to watch a comedy in the evening and they laughed happily and said they will never forget it! We went to the beach in Sennen to watch the sunset, it was very beautiful, and from the path up the mountain go back house ,Suddenly, a full moon rose in front of us, light up the way home .we went to the garden to watch the moon, which made us excited every day. Chasing the sun, chasing the moon and falling asleep. The facilities in the room are very modern, such as TV, induction cooker, oven…, we can cook. There is also wild celery in the garden, we make a very delicious Chinese meal every day, everyone has a good time 。 A week passed quickly, the seven of us also brought a dog and a rabbit, and everyone was very happy. Also visited many exciting attractions nearby. This is my second time to Cornwall, but it's better than the past, and the flowers are more and more, the mountains are full of flowers. Thank you Esther’s Field for allowing us to see and explore up close. I will introduce Esther's Field to all my friends and I will go back again . (From Birmingham,Hong)

Half term break

We have just returned after an amazing weeks stay. The house was superb and had everything you could need. The views from the house were spectacular and we were blessed with amazing weather. The house is an easy walk away from Lands End and we walked to the beach every day. We will definitely look to return in the future.
