The Stables at The Old Vicarage

Sleeping four guests, it is just 1.5 miles from the coast in a designated national landscape. Explore this spectacular region along the South West Coast Path and uncover some of the many ancient sites and stone circles such as Men-an-Tol and Lanyon Quoit on the moorland above Pendeen. A half-mile walk from the village brings you to atmospheric Geevor Tin Mine, set high on the clifftop. You can tour the workings both above and below ground in this last-surviving example of an intact, 20th-century Cornish tin mine. Head to picturesque St Ives (10 miles) to enjoy glorious golden beaches, craft shops, the Tate St Ives and other galleries, or visit Marazion (12.5 miles) to see the famous St Michael’s Mount.

Gather at the dining table inside to enjoy the chef’s work, or dine alfresco out in the garden when the weather permits. At the end of each busy day away, retire to a choice of two sumptuous bedrooms – a master double with an en-suite shower room, and a further double that sits on a mezzanine level. Completing the interior is a well-equipped family bathroom featuring a jacuzzi-style bath for those indulgent, post-walk soaks.
Outside, the gravelled patio is a lovely spot to enjoy the peace and seclusion of your holiday home, with stylish outdoor furniture and a BBQ setting the scene for evening tipples and al fresco meals together. Guests will also find private parking for up to two cars.
