Haven In The Heights .... A pochi passi da tutto !!

Posizione, posizione, posizione !! Benvenuti nel nostro delizioso bungalow con due camere da letto e un bagno situato letteralmente a pochi passi da tutti i favolosi ristoranti e negozi di N. Prospetto a Peoria Heights. Ci troviamo anche a soli 5 minuti dalla US Route 150 e dalla Interstate 74 e 10 minuti dal centro di Peoria. Se vuoi essere al centro di tutto, prenota qui il tuo soggiorno!
Abbiamo creato una casa lontano da casa per la nostra famiglia e i nostri amici e ora la estendiamo a te! Ogni camera dispone di un letto full size con biancheria da letto di design. Oltre a questo, c'è un divano letto queen nel soggiorno se necessario. La nostra cucina ha tutto il necessario per un soggiorno breve o prolungato tra cui una lavatrice / asciugatrice, fornelli, frigorifero e forno a microonde. Abbiamo anche una macchina da caffè Keurig con i corredi assortiti necessari per una tazza di caffè o tè preparato fresco. Durante il vostro soggiorno, siete invitati a sedervi all'aperto sulla nostra bella veranda coperta e rilassarvi e godervi l'atmosfera del quartiere affascinante. Abbiamo un comodo parcheggio nel nostro vialetto e c'è anche un ampio parcheggio in strada.

Storia della nostra strada: Duryea Avenue prende il nome da Charles Duryea che progettò la prima automobile americana a benzina. I due fratelli Duryea vinsero la prima gara automobilistica americana con la loro auto nel 1895. Poco dopo, nel 1898, Charles Duryea incorporò la Duryea Manufacturing Co. a Peoria Heights, e uno dei suoi primi veicoli fu esposto al Peoria Riverfront Museum nel centro di Peoria.

Great location, not in great shape, needs some maintenance and repairs, and a good cleaning inside and out. There is a lot of dust on the lights in the bathroom. The outside deck is a nice spot to relax and watch wildlife.

Close to everything!

We enjoyed the proximity to the coffee shops, the local shopping and restaurants! The place was very neat and tidy, although small it is very nicely decorated. I would recommend this house to others. The only thing I would say needed to be improved upon is the sheer curtain over the front door didn’t provide much privacy so we put a sheet over it

Great Place!

The property was perfect for me. Small but comfortable, great location and the host was great with communication and easy to reach. I will definitely stay here again and refer to my friends and family.

A weekend in Peoria

The house is a block off Main Street but quiet. The Main Street has several fun and good restaurants. The house is dated but very clean and has basics of everything needed. Comfortable bed. Hot water. Good air conditioning and heat. Pleasant stay

We didn’t even stay, the property was filthy, took a ton of pics, shared with Vrbo, never heard back from home owner. I have a listing with VRBO and they were completely useless as far as helping guest as well as getting in touch with the host. I am cancelling my listing with VRBO! Do Not Stay at this Property!!!’

Week long stay

Its a very small 2 bedroom house with 1 bathroom (in one of the bedrooms), kitchen and living room. Couch could stand to be replaced as it wasnt very comfortable. TV could also be replaced with larger screen. Its an okay stay for 1-2 night trip though.

We travelled here for a softball tournament with our 17year old. House is clean and within walking distance to nice restaurants and shopping. Layout of the house was quirky but it is an old home and to be expected. The only bathroom is in one of the bedrooms which makes sharing with a teenage girl difficult. But that’s just our family dynamic and no fault of the house LOL. House served its purpose and we had a good time there! Thanks for having us!

Charming Simplicity

A little cottage in the city…such a treasure. Our needs are simple, thus we wouldn’t change a thing. Bedding and bath towels are luscious. All was in good working order…furnace, hot water, etc (very important in my view especially since it snowed and the temp dropped dramatically during our stay). Delightful 💝

Comfy getaway in the Heights

This is our 2nd time to rent this house and it was just as great as the first time. The house is very clean and stocked with anything you might need. It's within easy walking distance to great restaurants and a good location overall. Ashley is awesome to work with and always helpful. We would definitely rent this home again.

Walkable and cozy

My friend and I enjoyed our getaway weekend together. We didn't drive our cars all weekend and loved the walkability of the shops, restaurants, trails, coffee shop, and bakery. The house was cozy and warm, and it seemed like a very safe area for two females. It was a fun and relaxing getaway! We'd stay here again.

Exceptional Location

If you want to enjoy the nightlife scene and wonderful restaurants less than a block from the house, this is the place to stay. Location is close to so many wonderful adventures. Communications with Ashley were exceptional. Worked well for our needs.

Basic but comfortable

Home is in a good location to stores and restaurants. Surprised there were no closets in the two bedrooms. Armoire in living room. Washer and dryer were nice to have. Beds were too small for me and my husbands liking, so we used both bedrooms. Overall experience was fine and served our purpose.

The Best!

Everything I wanted and more. I was in Peoria for my 55th high school reunion. This Beautiful Bungalow was walking distance to several excellent restaurants. And easy driving distance to all Reunion Events. The Host was very helpful and friendly. What could be better?
