Its walking distance to downtown and to the bus station (I arrived via bus from San Jose and walked to the hotel in minutes). The staff here is wonderful. Great breakfast, simple and clean rooms. Very clean place with good breakfast. You choose the breakfast time and they are very flexible. There's a fridge, microwave and "plug-in pan" on the big shared balcony, as well as some seats and tables and a hammock, really nice for chilling out. The balcony to my own room was much smaller, but still nice to open up the door wide for fresh air and putting clothes out to dry. The owners also run a rafting business, and fitted a tour in for me at short notice....

The entrance is from the main street and is a bit steep, but a 4x4 is not required, we drove the way up with a sedan. During the day, you can hear the trucks drive by on the main road, but at night it is mostly quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was amazing!”
