“Normally I’m not the person who writes reviews. But this hotel really deserves a good review. Its was great staying for me. Great interior design, cozy, clean. Its so close to Galle fort by tuktuk it takes only 230 rupees. Also staff were really really helpful, kind and caring. I had injury on my foot. They were really careful about this. “We had a great 4 night stay at Ahu Bay. It was nice that Nilanga messaged ahead to discuss arrival time. Having a room right on the beach was a real treat and the private pool was kept spotless by the team. The team couldn’t do more for us during our stay, making adjustments to cocktails to suit ours tastes. We ate at hotel twice and both times really enjoyed the dishes we tried, it’s clear there’s a talented chef in the kitchen! ”

“It was the most unpleasant stay in Sri Lanka and in general in several years traveling in Asia. The receptionist was totally unfriendly, just interested in getting us out out the hotel....and we understood why: some rooms were under renovation, so there was noise from early in the morning through the day.
