Weekend getaway
Cabin needs some maintenance. Front and side deck needs replacing. Some crown molding in one of the rooms is loose.A curtain or shutters for the front door would be nice.The outdoor stage also needs some work. The location is good and we spent a very peaceful and relaxing weekend.

Great location
The location was great! The listing needs updating as furniture has changed since the pictures were made. It is advertised as sleeping 6 but only sleeps 4. I believe the ad was written when it had a pull out couch. There are only enough towels for 4. Be aware that the well water has high iron content and is red so you may want to take your own water. We didn't communicate with the owner once we reached site because none of us had signals. Overall we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the visit but it is not truly as advertised. It is overpriced for the accomodations but you are really paying for great access to the creek.

2bedroom 1bath cabin
The jacuzzi tub would not turn off and couldnt find the breaker box. Eventually found it behind a picture. Had to turn the breaker off to keep the motor from overheating. I would suggest removing the photo hiding the breaker box. Also, the breaker was not exposed to show the that it belonged to the tub so we had to use a stick to turn it off. The bed linens had dirt and stains on them. The jacuzzi tub was not clean. We had to clean it with dishwasher tablets. It is clean now. The outdoor shower is leaking at the hot water where it is strapped secure keeping the shower at a constant temperature. Back security lights do not work. Suggest putting an outdoor ceiling fan or an outlet to plug a fan into on the back porch. No laundry detergent was in the cabin. The towels were sour smelling. Not enough toilet paper was left. Hot and cold water was switched on the tub spout and the spout is very loose. No place to put the handheld shower head so we had to hold it to use it which was a little difficult. Overall we LOVED the cabin and the location. Nothing above kept us from wanting to come back. If you are wanting to sell the units at any time please shoot me a price you would entertain. I would love to purchase them. Also, I am also a REALTOR in the state of Mississippi. If you are working with another REALTOR please disregard the rest of the paragraph. It was a blast!
We had an amazing time! We only live an hour away so it wasn’t a bad drive. We have an autistic 6 year old little girl so being secluded and having the private beach was awesome! Can’t wait to make this trip every summer.

Nice and quiet very peaceful
It was very nice we enjoyed it, will be back soon loved it next time I need to learn what kind of fish is in the water so I can catch me a big fish but I really enjoyed myself and my family did too

Girls get away
We enjoyed the beach but due to weather didn’t get to kayak creek. Beach area is very nice. Mosquito were bad at the cabin due to all the rain and there is water behind the cabin. Bring plenty of bug spray. The cabin needs updating there was duct tape holding down the floor in the kitchen. The roof on the back over deck is rotten and some deck boards were too. The bathroom is a bad design due to having to go thru bathroom to get to back deck. The grill was small with wheel falling off. The owner was super nice answering my text and letting us check up a little early. I will try another cabin next time..

We had a great time didn’t want to leave. This place was exactly what we were looking for in this get a way. Not much cell service and our boys still had a great time kayaking and swimming.

We love this place!
This is our favorite getaway! It is so peaceful, our cell phones barely work (which is awesome!), and our dogs can run and play. This is our second stay, and we are already planning to go back!

First timers in cabin rental!
We just returned from our stay at Uncle Ralph’s Cabin on Red Creek. It was an awesome experience. We grew up camping on Red Creek and to get the chance to come again has been a dream come true. If I had any negative, it would be that table lamps would be nice for late night reading. The grounds are very nice and the cabin was very quaint and comfortable. We will be back again next year! Thank you for a great experience!

No frills Beautiful Beach
The cabin was very simple but the beach was gorgeous. The place really grew on us. Had a great time swimming in the creek.

Best Cabin in Best Location!
This was the cutest cabin ever! The privacy and seclusion was so nice. Beautiful beach on the river. Great for our dog Gator to play in! Other dogs in area came around but all were friendly. We could hear others in the area but not loud enough to bother us or our stay. Cabin had every thing in it you would need for your stay. It was just me and my partner and our dog, but cabin had two Queen bedrooms and two big couches. WE WILL DEFINATELY BE BACK!!!!

The camp is the Best,The weather was an uninvited guest that severely wore out its welcome.. but we will happily return again and again. This was our first time renting, not our last.

We have been here many times with family and friends ... never disappointed... weather was perfect !

We all had a great time relaxing and all agreed we would be back. The beach is the best part of the rental. We spent every night enjoying the stars with a camp fire by the creek.

Third trip back. Overall, still satisfied.
We have been there twice before. Really don't have any complaints. Can't control Mother Nature though. Creek was high this go round due to rain every day. Even still, a fun family get away! Looking forward to our next trip.

QUIET and PEACEFUL.. the cabin was immaculate and comfortable. Everything we needed for comfort was there including dishes, pans, towels, and bedding. Ideal for social distancing - the only folks we encountered were those who floated past us in the creek. My only complaint was that we weren't able to stay longer.

Kids loved it!
Clean beach and property. Cabins are far enough apart from each other you still feel isolated. Very private location. No cell or WiFi service so great detox for the kids! Beach is a short walk to but they have a community pavilion at the beach for grilling, shade and it has electrics for fans and radio! Great place!

Great Place
Not quite as secluded as I expected and did not have wifi but one great place to stay. And John the owner was awesome. Storm came through knocked out the power, John contacted the power company and had it back on in less than two hours

It rained a river...
When we got to the property it looked like the pics. You could tell that major flooding happened as few weeks before but that was to be expected. Great beaches the water was a little muddy which was about right due to all the rain all around. Still beautiful. My husband stayed in air condition but I slept in the tent on the beach. It started to rain and rain. My friends drive out for lunch had a great day. We had to cut our trip short and our host was more than fair. It's not a fancy place but a great cabin and it looks like the other cabins are wonderful as well. Great location, great place, great beaches and usually the rivers are fantastic. Got a little fast and high. But still I would totally recommend this place. I will be back. Thanks for sharing the location. Mkj

My dogs loved this place!
This was one of our favorite places for doggie vacay! They played on the beach, ran in the fields, swam in the river. Lots of fun! For the humans we look for cleanliness (frig, microwave, toilets, etc). It was one of the better cabins we have rented. Quiet, peaceful property. John the owner was very cooperative and text back quickly w/ answers to my questions.

Great place for family getaway
We had a great time at The Camp! Cabin was clean and we’ll maintained, grounds and beach were beautiful. It is the perfect place to get away from everyday life and to wind down and relax. We have 4 boys that absolutely LOVED swimming in the creek and playing on the beach while my wife and I lounged in our hammock nearby. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Great place on red creek.
We put the canoes in at HWY 49 and took approximately 4 hrs to float to the cabin. Great outdoor space with covered deck and charcoal grill.

Great cabin!
The cabin was great. Very clean and had a huge lot across the stree with a sandy white beach. We brought kayaks and drove a few miles to drop off and kayaked to the cabin one day. Also great for just hanging on the beach. There is a large covered area that is also a nice addition near the beach. I would suggest bringing an air mattress. They have 2 queens and a futon sleeer. The futon is only large enough for a child.

Perfect getaway not to far from NOLA for us
We found this place and picked for my sons birthday weekend as it is not to far from NOLA about 2 hours give or take. We got there and could not believe how peaceful and perfect it was, this little cabin just perfect for our little family. They had everything you needed from dish soap to laundry soap, clean linens and towels and even some rafts that I guess previous guests left that we gladly used! We lit up the lights by the beach and grilled and it was just perfect! The water was great and just what we were hoping for, it is not to far from Flint Creek and the little water park they have there, we spent about an hour there and the kids were ready to back to the creek and play. We will be booking again for sure! The biggest plus my husband said other than location and beach was the AC it worked great in this aweful summer heat! Only thing which was not a drawback for me was the tv signal was messed up kids were upset at first but quickly got over it. (AGAIN I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT TV)

Perfect get away!
If you are looking for a quite get a way this is the place. Definitely not for everyone but exactly what we were looking for! Rustic cabin with what you need, nothing fancy, no frills. We took rafts and just floated for 2 days in the cool, clear sandy creek. Enjoyed talking to the occasional kayakers as they came by. We enjoyed it so much Mr.Rea let us extend our stay for another day! We will definitely be back very soon!

Relaxing

Great place comfortable. Be prepared for bugs if rained!!! Creek was awesome !
We loved our stay. Only negative mosquitos!!! Bring your mosquito weapons and enjoy the beautiful creek. Bugs were not on sand area. Most peaceful place to stay!!!

This year the mosquitoes seem worst than years past mostly due to all the rain we have had. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay we hope you come back again!

Roaches in the kitchen and a giant spider in the bathroom. The jacuzzi needed scrubbing to use!
We wanted a cabin by the creek, but were put in a cabin across the road from it. The cabin we wanted was available for the two days, but the property owner did not want to have to clean it before her next guests were to arrive on the day we were leaving. Instead, she put us in another cabin, which did not turn out to be a better alternative. We were not happy with the spider, roach and scummy tub situation. On a positive note, the beach was nice and mostly private. We will not, however, be going back!

Richard I am sorry you won't be returning. The cabin you wanted wasn't avaliable for your dates. We take a great deal of pride in making sure that our guest are comfy and without complaints. I see this was not your experience. Thank you for the feedback it is always welcomed.

Clean, private and relaxing
We loved our trip to this cabin! It is perfect location to relax with friends or with the kiddos. We will definitely be back! The private beach is so perfect, next time we will bring tubes and canoes to explore the creek further! Water is crystal clear and sand is so white!
