Benvenuti nella nostra bellissima casa sul lago per tutto l'anno con tutti i comfort moderni. Questo è il primo anno in cui apriamo la nostra amata casa agli ospiti. È sempre stata la nostra fuga estiva negli ultimi 40 anni, quindi la nostra grande famiglia sa quale opportunità ideale questa fuga è.

Come ospiti di case vacanze speriamo che ogni esperienza degli ospiti sia indimenticabile. Una volta che rimani a casa nostra, tornerai sicuramente anno dopo anno come una tradizione di famiglia.

La nostra grande cucina è fornita di tutto il necessario per preparare i pasti, oltre a un bar per la colazione a 3 posti. Tavolo da pranzo per 10 persone. Ampia camera familiare con camino in pietra. Stack di scaffali Un sacco di giochi e puzzle da giocare la sera o nei giorni di pioggia.

Il posto migliore in casa è la nostra veranda con una parete della finestra che offre una vista completa sul lago. Servizio di telefonia cellulare in tutta la casa.

SÌ, offriamo Wifi. (Conosciamo le chiamate di lavoro anche durante le vacanze.) Lettori DVD nel loft e nel soggiorno per film / giochi agganciati. Nessun cavo Chi ha bisogno del cavo quando conosciamo il corral carbone - l'esperienza è d'obbligo. (ma colleghiamo anche un foglio all'esterno e proiettiamo film sotto le stelle con il nostro cellulare e il proiettore Apple.)

2 bagni, con una doccia interna e una esterna per il dopo bagno. Entrambi hanno acqua calda infinita senza serbatoio. Abbiamo anche lavanderia al primo piano - lavatrice / asciugatrice. Forniamo asciugamani da spiaggia, da bagno, per mani e cucina e asciugacapelli.

Caratteristiche esterne:
Svegliati ed esci con un caffè o un tè, siediti sull'altalena del nostro albero e immergiti nella serenità. Scoiattoli e colibrì ronzano bizzarri intorno al patio da pranzo in pietra del vecchio mondo. Pozzo del fuoco con legna da ardere e 6 sedie pieghevoli da esterno, tavolo da picnic, griglia a carbone - carbone non fornito.

Sul lungomare: prendi il sole sul nostro enorme ponte sull'acqua. È come un soggiorno all'aperto completamente arredato con divani e sedie, un tavolino da caffè, un grande ombrellone, 4 sedie a sdraio, una darsena estesa con scala da bagno e un sacco di spazio per attraccare.
Forniamo anche 2 kayak - entrambe le estremità del lago sono riserve naturali dove gli avvistamenti di aquile sono quasi sempre visti durante il kayak o la barca. Gli aironi blu atterrano sulle banchine la sera, quindi è un nuovo fenomeno essere così vicino a loro.

Parcheggio: 3 nel vialetto, più su strada e prato se necessario.
Parti: per favore, niente riunioni, a causa della vicinanza ai nostri vicini.

Silver Lake è incastonato tra le dolci colline della contea di Wyoming a New York. Il lago è lungo 4 miglia, largo un miglio e noto per la buona pesca ... Anche l'inverno! Ho contato oltre 100 tende da pesca sul ghiaccio in un giorno.

Shake on the Lake è una divertente compagnia teatrale di Silver Lake / Perry con sede a New York che "nello spirito di Shakespeare" escogita spettacoli fisici originali e veloci, tra cui un tour estivo e una produzione invernale. Prova a vedere uno spettacolo, sono davvero divertenti.

Agosto / Settembre è il festival della mongolfiera di Dansville. (15 miglia) Ogni anno un caleidoscopio di colori inonda il cielo mentre gli spettatori da terra guardano meravigliati. Assicurati di prenotare il tuo posto per salire e scendere a fare un giro in una di queste mongolfiere, che arrivano a questo evento da tutto il mondo.

A memorable week with Family on Silver Lake!

This home was spacious inside & out and had everything we needed for a great week on the lake. We cooked everyday, hosted additional friends and family throughout the week, enjoyed the boat, grilling, and gathering around the large dining table. We also got lucky with perfect weather, so we really enjoyed the drive-in, golfing and the driving range as well. The host was welcoming and responsive - we had an all around lovely experience!

Great venue for family gathering!

This was a terrific place to stay and SO great to host a variety of guests. We had 7 adults and 5 kids (ranging from age 2-7) overnight. The kitchen is very well stocked. We'd taken cooking utensils and a few cookie sheets, but they were unnecessary as we had lots to choose from. The beds were clean and very comfortable. Upstairs is loaded for a great slumber party opportunity with 4 small beds for little kids as well as 3 twin sized beds. There were plenty of life jackets and water shoes (needed for the rocks in the water). The two kayaks were in good condition. The dock had plenty of seating space and opportunity for fishing or swimming. Although lots of rocks and seaweed along the shore, the water itself was very clear. Linda was a very swift communicator by messaging through Vrbo and e-mail as well as text messaging. The only downside, we'd say, is that there were quite a few dust bunnies around and dust on the surfaces/window blinds. Otherwise, the most important things (linens, kitchen, and baths) were all very clean and everything was very tidy when we arrived. Lots of board games and puzzles. No need to bring any. Charcoal Corral is a great place to go to eat and/or have some entertainment and the Silver Lake property easement down along the lake allows for great walking and viewing of all the lake houses. All in all, we'll definitely be back!

Wonderful Location!

This place was just what we needed for a relaxing weekend away with friends. For the first time in a long time I was able to relax. The views are gorgeous. Access to amenities was great for our group and the house was perfect for what we needed. Thank you!

Much needed getaway

Lakefront Getaway

We stayed stayed at this property with 3 families, 6 adults, and 7 children. We had plenty of space but didn't realize there was only one indoor shower. The house was clean and very organized. The kitchen could use more cookware, the freezer draw sticks and the dishwasher door flies open. The outside area was beautiful, with plenty of seating by the water and a fire pit in the yard. My husband was disappointed that he couldn't tether his boat to the dock, which we didn't know about until just a few days before we checked in. Overall, we had a nice time and would visit this property again.

Great stay for large family

Our extended family of 8 adults and 5 kids loved our stay at this house. There was plenty of room for all of us to have our own space, and there were even beds to spare in the bunk area. Already booked another week at this house for next year again.

3 of our sons, daughters-in-law & 7 of our grandchildren gathered for the week, 2 daughters-in-law had to work 2 days during the week & the college kids were there in varying numbers due to summer jobs. Silver is ideal since it’s about 1 hr. from home. Linda addressed any concerns in a timely way. The house is large enough to accommodate the group, the yard & deck fantastic. We’ll be back.

Sunset Silver Lake retreat

Our large group of family members preparing for a wedding, stayed at this great lake front location. There is plenty of sleeping and gathering space for all. Sunsets are fabulous on the dock or from the sun room. Kitchen was well stocked minus a coffee pot which we bought at the local Dollar General. Towels are available, but recommend bringing extra if you have a large group. There's a great washer and dryer if not. Some not so great things were; there wasn't gas for the grill and bottom oven didn't work. Also, property is advertised as having two full baths. It has one full bathroom, and a small half bath in master. Note: there's an outdoor shower, but it is not enclosed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in the quaint town of Perry. Short walk to putt putt golf, grill, ice cream parlor and drive in theater too! Great spot! S. Burns SATX

Best vacation ever!!

This property is wonderful! We are a family of 8 adults and 7 kids (9,7(2),6,5 and twin 2 year olds! More than enough room! The upstairs room with 7 beds that were perfect for the kids. The kayaks, swimming and fishing were some of the highlights of our trip! We hiked and swam at Letchworth Park , went to the Charcoal corral (several times)and swam at the natural spring at Stony Brook. Linda was very responsive in answering questions. The house was wonderful, the neighbors were friendly, the home was cozy, the beds were very comfortable and the dock was amazing! I promised three of my grandkids who were cried because they didn't want to leave that we will be back next year!! Thanks Linda!!

Great Place for a Family Vacation

This is a great place for families to enjoy the lake. The dock provides a comfortable place to relax by the water and to watch the kids swim. The house is spacious and comfortable, although having only one indoor shower is a bit of a drawback for large families. That notwithstanding, a thorough cleaning and a few minor repairs would raise our overall rating to five stars.

Unfortunately not as advertised

Longtime renter here and have had very good experiences. But, this was not as advertised unfortunately. The location was beautiful, the house was nice but it was unacceptably dirty, especially considering the focus on cleanliness these days and that a cleaning fee was assessed. We were compensated but the disappointment of multiple adults investing several hours each to clean the whole house upon arrival outweighed that compensation. I recommend the owner invests in a cleaning service, particularly since a fee is charged to guests. Amenities were also scant - bath and beach towels weren’t present as advertised, nor a coffee pot. Between amenities and cleaning products we spent a good deal of time and money. The rental experience disappointed and the owner wrongly accused us of seeking a full refund from her. I finally contacted VRBO and asked that they intervene on the 5th day of a 7-day trip since the owner continued to engage and we just wanted to enjoy the remainder of our first vacation in a long time. The area is beautiful. The lake is beautiful. I would come back and rent elsewhere.

Great location and home.

Loved the property and the location. Beautiful view right on the lake! A lot of great activities right around the corner for the kids! For the price it’s a great find. Linda was very responsive with all questions before and during the stay. The house was a little dirty when entering with animal hair but all appliances and dishes seemed to be clean. One full bathroom is a bit tough for the amount of people advertised and no bathtub if you’re kids aren’t showering yet. No air conditioning but usually the breeze off the lake is enough. The upstairs could use curtains to block out the sun in the morning. Garbage was an issue as the pick up took garbage from previous stay and only had one bin. Would recommend having more bins. Would recommend bringing own towels. Listing says included but only 6 included for up to 17 people. Question about cleanliness with covid protocols as we were told “if we were that worried about covid to bring our own stuff” when asked about beds being cleaned. No hose if you have inflatables for children. Dock was beautiful! Swimming area was great.

Beautiful relaxing lake house

Great lake house that more than accommodated 13 of us. Upstairs loft was perfect for kids to have there own space. Owner was very quick to respond and very helpful. Even recommended a great bakery that made one of the best cannoli cakes I’ve ever had. I would defenetly recommenced this rental and would certainly return for another visit.

Cannot wait to go back!

I was there with 8 of my girlfriends who are also business colleagues. We were there so that we could be together for an on line training event. The house is absolutely adorable and everything that it was said to be. It actually impressed me because most of the time the pics or the description of a place are actually better than the reality. So we were very impressed! The WiFi was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were all comfortable. The neighbors were pleasant. The kayaks were great. The view spectacular. The little camp fire was so fun and we had a fire every night. If there was anything negative to say it might be that there is only 1 and 1/2 baths BUT with 9 ladies, we did not seem to have issues. So, it can totally work! Linda was very accommodating and easy to reach. We're thinking of making this an annual thing!!!! I would absolutely stay here again!!
