The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. “This hotel was truly wonderful. The rooms were clean, and the staff was both amazing and incredibly helpful. I also thoroughly enjoyed exploring the hiking trails that bordered the river.”

“Peaceful and quiet. Use of private onsen. Not too far from the train station or close shops. Houses are more in the traditional sense which is great. Just have to walk uphill a little bit to reach the accommodation. Fine if a youngster or fit enough. Got a lift to the station when checking out as well. How good? Early June for 2 nights for 2 of us. Reasonable price for the experience.”

“It was a fantastic experience to be able to stay in a traditional home for a few nights. Yoshiko made our stay so comfortable and provided advice on sightseeing, rides to and from the station, gave us snacks and breakfast food and did our laundry. What a treasure. We hope to go back!”
