Well equipped and Paula, who was very helpful is and on hand next door if you need anything. Great base to explore the surrounding area and supermarkets around five miles away.”

“Amazing place. From the gracious hosts to the amazing views. If you want a place that is quiet but has a some of the shopping places you need, this is it. The peace and quiet is amazing. The hosts welcome with any questions and a lot of information to hand. The cottage is comfortable and according to our daughter the hot tub is an amazing feature. Our dogs also fell in love with the cottage and enjoyed the conversation with our host’s dogs.”

“We had a fantastic holiday in The Stables. It is very stylish and comfortable with lots of lovely touches. The welcome hamper was fantastic. We really appreciated Natalie and Dan catering for my wife’s food intolerances. Our cocker spaniel was also extremely well catered for with treats and toys. The mud wash with hot and cold water was really useful after walks in the countryside. The Stables is in an idyllic setting with lots of lovely walks on the doorstep. “great location on the edge of Oakham, easy walking to shops, cafes, pubs etc. Road parking was fine but the road is quite narrow with cars parked up both sides. lots of outdoor activities at Rutland water. Only 20 minute drive from the historic town of Stamford.plenty of hot water and house lovely and warm.”

“The cottage is excellent, with plenty of parking, a very safe enclosed garden for our dogs, it is very well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable holiday. Paul and Jenny, the owners are lovely, gave us a guided tour of the cottage and where to find things. The welcome pack was very nice and much appreciated. Thanks for everything. We will be returning next year, all being well.”
