We had a wonderful stay in our guest house! We felt right at home in the modern open interior. We loved having outdoor areas for AM coffee, bird watching or just hanging out enjoying the plants/space. (We had a peach face lovebird that visited daily). Also loved being close to great hiking (walking distance!), restaurants, stores and places to explore. Al Beadle community was the icing on the cake!

Absolutely perfect little place. Easy, private access and everything set up for a great stay. The guest house had lots of natural light. The location is perfect for everything you want to do in Phoenix and only 20 minutes from the airport. Please note the second bedroom is only a full bed, not a queen. I read that wrong when I booked it but we made it work.

We had to live with the stench of urine and excrement for most of the first two days because the toilets wouldn't flush and were backing up. Rather than offering to move us to another local VRBO listing or other lodging at least until the place was fixed and cleaned, the host simply said "just don't flush." It was beyond disgusting and the host seemed only to be concerned with keeping us booked rather than showing any empathy for the situation that she had put us in.The unit itself, other than the stinky toilets, was fine - clean and apparently 'modern' (bare cracked cement floors) and the complimentary bottle of wine and a few snacks in the fridge were appreciated. However, they did not override the awful first half of our stay.Other minor negatives -- the slider door nearest the driveway was locked shut and forced guests to walk around the building to get in. Because there are several unevennesses, this presents a tripping hazard for elderly guests. The hot water was slow to come on & the shower water pressure was extremely weak.All in all, the location was great for our purposes and the host did at least try to get the stinky toilets fixed as quickly as she apparently could - but - the negatives of grotesque inconvenience and failure to provide alternatives to escape the stench were unsatisfactory. We STRONGLY feel that VRBO should not charge us for the first two days that we lived with the poor maintenance and resultant stench of the unit in which we stayed.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at this guesthouse. It offered the privacy and peaceful setting we were looking for, with beautiful skylights thoughtfully placed throughout the home. The location was serene, and the views were lovely.The host was extremely kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay—communication was easy and efficient. We truly felt welcomed and well taken care of.

Great Stay and Plenty of Space!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful casita. The guest house is stylish, spotless, and feels brand new. Tucked in a quiet neighborhood, it offered the perfect mix of comfort and charm. The beds were super comfortable, and we appreciated the peaceful atmosphere throughout our stay. Kathy, the host, went above and beyond—even leaving us some thoughtful treats! The outdoor sitting areas were perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee or evening drink. It’s often said, but this truly is a hidden gem. Highly recommend!

Everything you need to have a great time!

This owner thought of everything. One of the nicest VRBO's we've stayed in as a family. Conveniently located to everything in the Phoenix area. 15-20 min to Sky Harbour car rental/airport. Kids had fun on the artificial turf. Feels like a secure area. Close to stores, restaurants. If we travel again to this area, we will stay here again.

Clarification: One shower, two sink/toilet areas

It was not clear to us that there was only one shower. There are two sink areas and two toilets. All cement floors, so bath rugs would be nice. Convenient location. House has great natural light with windows (bedrooms now have shades) and skylights. Kitchen has high grade appliances and well supplied. TV not equipped for sports fans. We had to purchase Sling and Paramount to watch March Madness. Thermostat was set so could not turn AC or heat beyond certain temperatures. Home entrance is all the way around the house, walk on unsteady bricks. Fine if balance and mobility are not issues. Nice places to sit outside. Kitchen cupboards are high, third shelf only reachable if about 6 feet tall. All and all, we liked the house and wanted to share this info for future guests.

Great guest house!

Kathy was a great host! Her guest house was really quiet, private and well-stocked! She was responsive and when we asked for restaurant suggestions she gave us a great one! The location is pretty central to the highway and therefore easy access to alot of places!

This was a well accommodated space. Very clean and plenty of coffee! The neighborhood is also quiet. I would seek to book this again because my daughter lives very nearby.

Expectations were exceeded

As first-time VRBO users, we couldn't be happier with our experience at this property. The place was new, clean, with a well-designed layout and even beautifully decorated. The private courtyard was an oasis after a day of touristing. Kathy was a highly responsive and helpful host. (Shades had been installed in the bedroom.) We look forward to returning next year.

Extended Stay 2 months

I highly recommend this rental property! It is new, bright, cheery, as well as private and secure in a great neighborhood. I felt comfortable here as a 60+ female on my own when my husband was traveling. The property manager, Kathy, is amazing and was very responsive to my needs and requests without being intrusive.

Lovely Guesthouse

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the guesthouse. We found the property lovely, with a nice modern decor. The kitchen was very well set up for cooking. We used sleep eye masks, and so weren’t bothered by the lack of curtains in the bedroom. I would stay here again.

Delightful owners and pristine property

We enjoyed our stay. The property is in pristine condition with some bespoke touches in the kitchen. Kathy was a pleasure to interact with and very responsive on questions. The only nit I would pick is that there are no window coverings in the bedrooms. This is not a privacy issue due to outdoor privacy walls but for my son and I it did impact our sleep schedules as we were up with the sunrise. Coming from a different time zone and being on a “vacation” sleep schedule this was a bit of a disappointment. Other than that this property was perfect for our needs. I do want to reiterate that this property was overall amazing and the hospitality was extraordinary.

Amazing place

An amazing place to stay in Phoenix. House is brand new and was very clean and had everything we needed. Great location in a quiet neighborhood that made it easy to get to wherever we wanted to go. Host was very friendly and very easy to get in touch with, with any questions we had. Would highly recommend this rental and will definitely be looking to book it again the next time we travel to Phoenix.

A Hidden Gem

New, clean, great layout and a quiet family neighborhood. Add in a responsive owner and a fantastic location for getting around Phoenix and Scottsdale and this is one of the best listings I've seen.
