We had a good stay overall- the interior of the home was clean, well stocked, and thoughtfully set up, and we had everything we needed during our stay. Not the best of areas- but we knew that prior from living in Phx in the past.However, the outdoor space was not in the condition reflected in the listing. There had been a storm the day we arrived, there was heavy dirt build up, weathering, unclean surfaces, and some broken or heavily worn outdoor furniture that appeared to be from longer-term maintenance rather than a recent weather event. We spent several hours cleaning the outdoor area ourselves so it could be used ( I want to note we did not message the host directly at that time, instead Vrbo directly and took it upon ourselves to clean due to our schedule- however the day post check-in I let the host know of the situation and it took over 24 hours with check ins to get a response, so unsure if it would've been cleaned in a timely manner had we reached out) The home has great potential, but the outdoor space would benefit from deeper, more consistent upkeep to match the "new lux" quality shown online.
