Welcome to Old Town Retreat—a one-bedroom, one-bath Scottsdale vacation rental in the walkable Maya community. This cozy condo sleeps 4 with a king bed and queen-size sleeper sofa, making it perfect for couples, friends, or small families. Enjoy resort-style amenities during your stay, including a pool and hot tub, a clubhouse with pool and ping-pong tables, and a full fitness center.

Located just 0.5 miles from Old Town Scottsdale, you'll be steps away from top restaurants, shops, art galleries, and vibrant nightlife. Walk to Fashion Square Mall (0.6 mi), the Scottsdale Waterfront, and the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (1.2 mi). Outdoor lovers will love being just 3.5 miles from Camelback Mountain's Echo Canyon Trail and close to the Desert Botanical Garden, Phoenix Zoo, and OdySea Aquarium.

There are plenty of ways to get around, including free vintage-style trolleys, neon-lit golf carts (just tip!), and walking to nearby attractions. Scooters, bikes, and ride-share options make it easy to explore without a car.

Pets: This home and property are dog-friendly, and guests can bring their furry friends. A non-refundable Pet Fee of $130 applies, and there is a limit of two dogs per booking party.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay. Condo was in a central location and had everything that we needed except for sheets for the sofa bed. Called the manager and quickly received sheets. Great communication by the manager of the unit.

Wildly Disappointing

Chose the rental because of the location and availability as it was a last minute booking. We arrived at 10:30pm to find that the bed had a foam topper with a top sheet laying on top, no mattress cover or fitted sheet and nothing to be found in the closets. The pullout had sheets, but no blanket was provided. We had to sleep one night in that condition, then I purchased a set of sheets. The place “looked clean”, but the floor turned our socks black and the rugs were digesting. I did not speak to management bc we were away from the condo from 7am-10pm most days due to Swim Nationals. This is the most sparsely provisioned rental we have ever stayed at. Minimal towels, 5 hangers, no guest book with the instructions. We did not have the opportunity to use the pool or workout area.

Great place. Difficulty with access

Address for property did not match Google and we were dropped off at a different hotel. It took a bit (hike and strangers helping) to find it. About half a mile from where we were dropped off. We used waymo so maybe it’s their mapping system but I tried google maps too and no luck. We were given early access, which is awesome. But the code for the door was incorrect. We had to call the property management company and there was no answer. We left a voicemail and they got back to us in a 10/20 minutes. They had to get back to me after they investigated so the whole situation for access took about 30-40 minutes. But service was great. Location was awesome. Unit was as advertised.

Pretty awful

Was not informed that we were entitled to a military discount which we did not get. Address was incorrect: should have been Maya Condo - not Old Town Retreat. Wandered around for over 2 hours trying to figure this out. Should have been told the building number, the parking space number and the condo number - but we weren’t. Code provided to get into the condo was incorrect. Should have been told in addition to the code you had to punch the check sign - and you had to activate the security system by pushing a button. Totally different from ours and we were locked out for 4 hours trying to figure this out. Additional bath towels, hand towels, dish towels would have been nice since we stayed a week - I change these 2X a week when I’m home. Was told there was an elevator but it doesn’t stop at our floor. 84 yr old and 72 year old had to carry luggage and supplies up and down a flight of stairs - shame on you! The condo was nice but the temperature was cold for us. No way to turn on heat. This was our 40th anniversary and as far as we’re concerned you didn’t do a lot to make it special.
