Summary: Longer Stay Discounts! Love the relaxing AZ life at this 3 bedroom home located in a Goodyear neighborhood near the I-10. It boasts a large backyard swimming pool with overflowing spa (HEATING OPTIONAL) overlooking the Palm Valley Golf course, a backyard BBQ and patio sitting area. The home has been recently furnished and upgraded and is perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway, a week vacation, or a month long stay (please ask us for our longer term discounts).

Please read the entire description as we try to answer the most common questions we get from guests.
This listing is for the entire home, including the fenced in backyard with private swimming pool and overflowing spa (heating optional), BBQ, and patio area. The home is 2100 square feet with vaulted ceilings and has been recently furnished. All the essentials are provided such as sheets, blankets, towels, bath and shower toiletries and laundry supplies for your entire group. There is off-street parking available for up to 6 cars (3 garaged).
There are up to 4 separate sleeping areas. - Master suite with king size bed and attached full bathroom - Private bedroom with queen size bed - Private bedroom with queen size bed - Common area with (2) twin air beds
There are 2 full bathrooms, a fully stocked laundry room, as well as a large kitchen and dining area. (Children`s supplies such as high chair and pack n play are available for rent, please ask if needed)
There is are large screen HDTVs in the main living room and two of the bedrooms including the master bedroom. Both TVs have streamed Cable TV.
High chair, pack n play, and booster seat available for rent: $5/day per item per day plus a $35 delivery charge plus tax.
PETS ***Please let us know if you have pets as dogs only are welcome to stay here. There is a per pet fee of $10 per day (plus tax). 3 dogs max. We do require that you have a place to keep your pet (i.e. dog crate, pet carrier, etc.) while you may be away from the house. We also need to know a few things about your pet (color, breed, weight, and age). Please let us know these details at booking time so that we are able to inform the community of your pet. Please note that guests are still responsible for picking up after their pet. Additional cleaning fees may be charged for pet messes left behind.
POOL **** Note: swimming pool/spa are not normally heated and time to get up to temperature can vary with the weather as well as other guest stays (may take up to 24 hours). Please let us know at booking time if you are interested in the heated pool or spa option. Guests requesting this option are responsible for a service fee of $50/night plus tax and fees for spa only or $75/night plus tax and fees for pool and spa (pool and spa combo option requires a 1 week minimum purchase) added on to your reservation cost. We want guests to understand this home`s pool setup in order to better set expectations. The pool and spa are connected and so the two can heat together to the temperature of the pool but in order to heat the spa to a hot tub the pool can not be heating at the same time. For spa option guests please let us know the times of the day you would want the spa on (i.e. morning from 7-9am, evening from 7-10 pm) so that we can create a schedule for it to run during those times. It will not be heated 24/7 during your stay. spa/pool heat is optional, additional fees will be added to the reservation. Please reach out so we can confirm pool/spa heat.

If you are going to be travelling around the Southwest, this home is a great base. San Diego, LA, Las Vegas, and the beaches of Mexico are all about 5 hours away. The Grand Canyon, Sedona, White Mountains, and AZ`s wine country are 2-4 hours. Take your carry-on, and leave the big stuff while you explore. We have been to almost every corner of the state, so if you want to know the hidden treasures, we would be happy to tell you our favorite places to visit.
Please note, because Phoenix is so spread out, we advise having a vehicle if you stay with us. Public transportation is not far away from our home, but it takes a while to get to most parts of the city from our home. With a car, we are convenient to most parts of the Valley, including downtown Phoenix (sports, restaurants, and arts), Tempe (shopping, restaurants, nightlife), Glendale (sports and shopping) and Scottsdale (shopping, arts, sports, nightlife).
OTHER NOTES: *Noise ordinance set in place 10pm-8am. Subject to additional fees if not followed. *Thermostats may have temperature limit locks (i.e. 72 deg.) to prevent being set at temperatures that may cause catastrophic damage in high heats or to help control out of the ordinary utility costs throughout the year. *Pool and landscape vendors access the home once per week and have access to the back yard

Getting Around: We HIGHLY advise having a car if you stay with us, and we have off-street parking available for you. Phoenix is a SUPER spread out city (50+ miles in all directions), so while we do have public transportation near us, it can take a while to get to your destination by bus.

We expect all our guests to not only treat our location with care and respect but to also leave the place in respectable condition for our cleaning team. We by no means expect you to fully clean the property before you depart and instead request that guests clean up their spills and messes as they occur and remove any extra garbage that may build up during the stay. Excessive amounts of garbage and extra messiness may require an additional cleaning charge for our cleaning team.

We really enjoyed the house. Typical AZ house, spaceous and comfortable. Some things that could be updated: toaster, sharp knives and frying pans. During our stay, the garage door broke, so we had to park outside. Not a huge deal but our black van got pretty hot in the AZ sun. Next time we rent a VRBO, we will have a seperate hot tub from the pool. Heating the pool/spa was not worth it. The water temp was inconsistant at best. Not worth the near 600 for week. As for communication with STRM, they were very responsive.

The house is very spacious, filled with everything you need and comfortable. Our dog also enjoyed the house and the surrounding area. She made several canine friends during our walks in the community. We hosted dinner for our grand-daughter and her family and we felt quite at home. The backyard is a revaluation, gorgeous. Only negative which many may see as a positive is that it faces the golf course and it is fenced by railing so golfers can see in.

If you want to be ignored, like bad customer service and an uncomfortable house, this is for you. Property had a limit on the how you can set the temperature and the house was hot and stuffy. Property manager didn't care and provided zero effort to resolve the situation. The listing nor the rental contract said anything about temperature restrictions. The owners contact information was listed and so after several texts that were ignored, he finally responded and told me he didn't understand why I was contacting him and flatly refused to do anything. After complaining to VRBO, the property manager provided me the manual to reset the temperature, but provided no assistance, so I had to do all the work. The "hot tub" wasn't hot. I understand that there is a charge to heat the pool, but I expected the hot tub to actually be hot. The closet light was broke, making it difficult to see. It rained and there was a leak, which made a mess on the floor, so we couldn't let our toddler go on the floor. The property manager did zero! Totally indifferent to the situation, so I had to clean it up. And the bed mattress were awful. I will never stay there or with any property of this organization.

I think that the listing needs to be updated as you need to pay extra ahead of time in order to have the spa heated. The wording was buried in the middle of the descriptions. It should certainly be highlighted. Our fault for not seeing it, but it seems as though it's not meant to be seen? The spa was one of the reasons that we booked this property. Very disappointing. The property wasn't anything special. There was a fire pit table that didn't work well. There was a broken window from a golf ball that we were alerted about, but they said that it'd be fixed. It wasn't. Overall, the company that manages the property was just a company. No real time communication available, I guess. Overall, I wouldn't stay there again.

Too short of a visit. Big golf tournament weekend. Back patio saw some daily golf ball action. Started a collection. So for some reason VRBO website was not responding when communicating upon departure. The webpage for the house info said no longer available so it was a bit frustrating. Just left the house as I would want my house left. Stuff happens… what can I say😳

This home was beautiful and the pool was great. If you have kids you might want to ask to have the pool heated. Very spacious and calm. Would recommend to anyone that has kids, very safe environment.

We enjoyed the home - especially location and pool. Comfy beds and nice big kitchen close to amenities. The only cons were the goofballs that did come into the pool when we were in it a few times so we tried to swim when not many golfers were out.

I loved this house! Great location and so peaceful and open backyard that backs up to the golf course. Everything was clean, well stocked and comfortable.
