The home was situated in a good location when entering Fountain Hills. The backyard, pool and hot tub were nice, but I spent more time skimming the leaves out then using it. The kitchen area was large and worked good for our party of 4, however the house overall could use some renovations. Multiple electrical outlets were loose. One behind my bed was hanging out of the wall with no plate. The showers did not have the greatest pressure, bathroom fixture was loose. Master bedroom closet had visible water damage and mold on base trim. 3 out of the 4 beds were uncomfortably firm and pillows very soft. The cleanliness of the home was average with some wash cloths, towels and pillows had stains on them. An old and dirty bathroom towel was found stuffed behind one of the beds between the mattress and wall. The Welcome Binder on the kitchen table was stained brown and needed updating. The appliances worked good. Kitchen was stocked, but non-stick cookware was pretty worn. Grill worked good, but cleaning brush was disgusting. Cooling mister spray nozzles out back were mostly clogged and did not work well. Smoke detector went off with low battery in the middle of the night and was finally found in the back shelf of a closet. Overall, we still had a good week, but was a little disappointed with the property in some aspects given the price and decent looking pictures. I think it could be a very nice house with some updates and proper repairs. Host responded quickly.
