“The stay at the Garden Lodge was really perfect! Jubenal and his family are so helpful and friendly! It is a little outside of LA Fortuna situated but Jubenal offered us to drive us to the center and picked us also up. The room is really great, it's a small house of wood with a view to a part of a forest. So in the night and the morning you hear the animals living there. “Stayed for 3 days in March and found the hotel and staff to be great. The bed was comfortable and the amenities (kitchenette, bathroom) were good quality. The food in the restaurant was excellent. They have a lot of different choices for lunch and dinner and the servings were generous. Breakfast was also very good but we found it pricey for what you got. The staff - Alonso, Izak and William - were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.”

“The worst place we have ever been. The room was dirty, there were water leaks, cracked walls and floors, broken windows, rusty faucets. It rained the whole night and we could hear the loud noise of the water falling on the tin roof. We had a reservation for four nights and stayed just one, after agreement with the director of paying for one night getting the rest of our money our money back. This never happened.
