"Villa Clementine truly exceeded our expectations. I had booked it because of the excellent reviews on Expedia, but I must say the experience was even better than I expected. The room was beautiful, spacious, very comfortable, and surrounded by a lovely green environment. The swimming pool also looked wonderful, although unfortunately the weather was too cold for us to use it. What we appreciated the most was definitely the breakfast, which was simply outstanding. The owner really goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. There was an incredible variety of food suitable for all kinds of diets and intolerances. My wife is lactose intolerant, so we especially appreciated the care and attention given to this. Just to give an example: we arrived on Saturday, and on Sunday morning the local pastry shop where they usually buy cakes and pastries is closed. So she woke up at 5 AM to bake cakes and croissants herself, and they were absolutely amazing. The cakes and the croissant served during the week from the pastry shop are delicious, but her homemade breakfast was truly exceptional. The only small note is that the road leading to the property could use a bit of maintenance, as there are quite a few potholes. However, this is more a comment for the local municipality than for the owner herself. Thank you very much for the wonderful hospitality. We will definitely come back."
