    Situato nel cuore del Parco Nazionale del North York Moors, nella fattoria del proprietario, è un'oasi di pace e tranquillità, circondato da prati e boschi, sentieri e mulattiere. Il villaggio di Lockton (un miglio) ha una sala da tè con le osterie locali che servono pasti buoni. Pickering (sei miglia) ha una serie di negozi, ristoranti e pub ed è sede della Steam Preservation Railway. L'antico porto peschereccio di Whitby è a 15 minuti di auto con Scarborough, Filey e York a breve distanza in auto.

    I vacanzieri devono arrivare dopo le 15.30 del giorno di arrivo e lasciare la proprietà entro le 10. 00 del giorno di partenza, se non diversamente concordato con il proprietario. Indicazioni: - Seguire la A169 in direzione nord da Pickering verso Whitby. Percorri 4 miglia, oltrepassa il pub Fox & Rabbit, dopo 1 miglio supera il bivio di Lockton, prosegui per 300 metri e svolta a destra. Percorri 1 miglio lungo Pasture Lane, fienile a destra e Mount Pleasant Farm è la seconda fattoria a mezzo miglio lungo la corsia.

We try much enjoyed our stay at Pasture Barn, the cottage was lovely and cozy and in such a peaceful location, perfect for getting away from it all and enjoying the countryside. There are some very pleasant little towns nearby and the coast is less than a 30 minute drive away.

Pasture Barn, was just what we needed - a relaxing break, in beautiful countryside. It is spacious, very clean and very much a home from home. We received a lovely welcome gift plus a pint of milk in the fridge, so we didn't have to drive to the shop straight away to make a brew. The owners were friendly and you knew that they would be at there if needed. Great location to explore North Yorkshire, from Pickering to the beautiful beach at Sandsend and much more in this beautiful county. When we had a lot of snow ,so we snuggled in Pasture Barn and took advantage of the DVD player and reading books, magazines. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A very nice cottage that has all you need in the kitchen.

A very nice cottage that has all you need in the kitchen. There is only an upstairs toilet with bath and overbath shower. One bedroom is downstairs , and the other is upstairs. The upstairs bedroom has windows that are in a low position, so you have to literally lie down to view outside,the otrher window is too high and you have to stand on your toes to look out. The downstairs living area is open plan. There are doors to exit to the side of the property,and from the kitchen area. Could not use the car port as it is made from an old barn and swallows were nesting in it,so they were making a bit of a mess,that would have been all over the car. There is a need for more information on using the waste bins,and the washing machine etc. The owners who live nearby on the farm are very pleasent. They have internet and Wi -Fi on the farm, but none at the rental property which is a must have in this day and age,my grandaughter was lost without it,and the TV had only basic programmes. Finding places to eat is easy, one is nearby, but all the places we tried to get a meal were by booking only,and reserved. Another bad point for tourist in the area generally is that the local authorities have high cost car parking charges,and that goes for disabled drivers using the parking areas,they still have to pay. I have even seen charges in lay byes.
