  • Located about 17 miles north of the city of Pierre, this townhouse is a half-mile from Cow Creek boat ramp, and less than a mile from the Outpost Lodge and Spring Creek Marina. Plenty of parking, nicely furnished, and perfectly situated to host your hunting or fishing trip, or family fun getaway to Lake Oahe!

Great for groups!

This was a great stay for us. Close to fishing access, 15 minutes from town, and great communication. Well equipped kitchen was also a plus.

Fishing/Family Get Together

Very comfortable, house had everything that we needed! The 3 bathrooms was definitely a bonus. Would stay again and would recommend as a great place to stay.

This place is spacious, quiet, and has a ton of creature comforts! It is located in a growing area, and is literally minites from Lake Oahe. Plenty of room to park your boat or jetskis. I plan to come back very soon!

Prairie Dog Hunting in the Grasslands

This is our second year at this property. The location is great and I highly recommend the Outpost restaurant for dinner. They have one of the best Walleye dinners I have experienced.

Great Spot

Perfect spot for our Lake Oahe fishing trip—clean, spacious, and comfortable! The cabin had everything we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to plenty of room to relax after a long day on the water. The location was ideal—just a short drive to the boat ramp and close to town for anything we forgot. The property was well-maintained, and it’s clear the owners take pride in keeping it in great shape. We’ll definitely be back soon and highly recommend it to anyone planning a fishing trip in the area!

Perfect place

This place is amazing! So comfortable, perfectly clean and spacious. The views of the river and landscape are beautiful. Very close to river access for fishing. The hosts were extremely hospitable and went out of their way for me. This is the ideal place to stay! I travel all over the country and I never felt so at home as I did here.

Family Wedding

We enjoyed our stay. Great sized home for a large group. 2 large comfortable living spaces and plenty of beds. Well stocked kitchen and access to supplies. Other than being a bit remote from town, shopping, restaurants and the wedding festivities it was great to find a large enough place to accommodate our family.

Annual pheasant hunt

This is our 18th annual pheasant hunt for a week in South Dakota. We used to stay in hotels. Vrbo is such so much better than a hotel. And this one is particularly nice, perfectly suited for our needs.

Wonderful home!

We’ve stayed in VRBOs all over the U.S. and Europe. This home has the best provisioned kitchen we’ve ever seen. We were able to prepare and serve a multi-course meal for Thanksgiving for our family with ease. Thank you, Toni.

Loved by Brookings Softball Team!

My slow pitch softball team was in Pierre for the state tournament and stayed here. The house was perfect, everyone slept great and had no complaints! We were impressed with the size, how much the house came with (silverware, cooking utensils, games, etc), that the walls were thick enough to not hear others, and that we could run all 3 showers at once without running out of hot water. We had a great experience here and would be back!

Late fall trip to SD

This property worked out really well for us. Three bathrooms made it really nice compared to where we have been staying. The only negative was I wish we had more access to garage space. We could only fit one truck inside.

Family weekend by the river

We had a great time. The extra frig in the garage was a plus. When we lost Wi-Fi Toni promptly got the help to restore it. The property does need some repair/maintenance.

Perfect place for our large group

This home was extremely comfortable and very well equipped and supplied. Toni graciously welcomed our group of six - three adult siblings and spouces. The accommodations perfectly met our needs and provided some surprising opportunities for friendly competition through ping pong, foosball, corn hole, darts, and lots of board games.We mostly ate in and had everything we needed to prepare wonderfully delicious meals using the propane grill and/or the blackstone grill. The second refridgerator/freezer in the garage allowed us to stock up on plenty of ice cold beverages for our stay. Finally, the back deck with it's beautiful relaxing view provided a serene oasis for much needed catching up time.We highly recommend this awesome vacation rental and hope it's available for our next trip to South Dakota.
