Designed by the renowned Art Nouveau/Liberty architect Luigi “Gino” Coppedé (1866-1927), the villa has recently undergone a complete renovation, restoring it to its original grandeur. It’s exquisite wooden ceilings, the intricate designs of its original parquet floors, and the majestic spaces throughout the building are sure to captivate even the most casual observer.
Situated just 50 meters (165 feet) from the sea on the stunning Italian Riviera, the villa is nestled within a large, serene private park of 1,600 square meters (0.4 acres). The property offers ample parking for up to 3 cars and is a mere 3-minute walk (300m) to the Ligurian Sea. It’s also just a 12-minute walk to the charming town of Sori with its expansive beach, or a 15-minute walk to the picturesque town of Bogliasco.
La Villa Italiana boasts 5 bedrooms, each with a sea view, and 4 bathrooms, accommodating up to 13 guests. However, the villa is ideally suited for 6-10 guests to enjoy the highest level of comfort. The first and second floors, known as the 'piano nobile' (noble floors), feature 4-meter (13-foot) high ceilings and elaborate decorations. The villa spans over 500 square meters (5,382 square feet) across 14 rooms and is fully air-conditioned, with heating and cooling provided by a state-of-the-art heat pump. Additionally, the property includes 5 terraces, offering a total surface area of more than 100 square meters (1,074 square feet)."
Beyond offering dream vacation rentals, La Villa Italiana is also a great venue for small destination weddings, ceremonies, corporate retreats, and special occasions. An additional fee applies to host private events, as well as commercial photography and filming (please refer to TO KEEP IN MIND section).

1st Floor:

-Dining Room and reception area with frescoed and coffered ceiling (40 square meters / 430 square feet).
Note the main living room and dining room can be combined into one single grand 95 sq m / 1022 sq ft room
-Kitchen with a 3-meter (10 feet) island, custom Officine Gullo range with dual oven, teppanyaki top, 2 Bosch fridges, wine fridge, etc. (34 square meters / 366 square feet)
-1 bedroom with an ornate frescoed ceiling, an ornate loggia, and 5 bay windows with sea views
-1 bedroom with ornate wall decoration and a large sea view window
-Access to the basement laundry with washer, dryer, and gym area

Easily accessible and furnished with a BBQ, couches, swing, and a 14-person dining table, the terrace allows for fine dining while enjoying the sea view.
SURROUNDINGS:
Its proximity to Pieve Ligure train station and bus stop makes it easy to reach many beautiful and famous locations without a car. Recco (10 min) is renowned for its focaccia, Camogli (15 min) for its unique beauty, Portofino (30 min) for its elegance, the green waters of Paraggi Bay, Santa Margherita (20 min), or the “Cinque Terre” (1 hour 10 min) and Pisa/Tuscany (1.5 hours). The city of Genoa, boasting one of the most ancient and extensive historical centers in Europe, is just 20 minutes away by car, train, or bus.
TO KEEP IN MIND:
The owners are a young family who poured their life savings and countless hours of labor of love in La Villa Italiana, their dream home in Italy. Outside the main tourist season, this is their primary residence. They have undertaken a painstaking, multi-year renovation to faithfully restore the villa to its original glory while incorporating modern comforts and state-of-the-art, energy-efficient technologies. These include HVAC systems, smart home features, electric shutters, modern plumbing and heating, designer lighting, hand-tailored furniture, high-end appliances, and more. However, due to the building's age, please be aware that there may be minor imperfections that contribute to its historical charm. While these may cause slight inconveniences, they should not impact the overall quality of your stay. Please help preserve this historically protected villa by using the utmost care.
The price is intended for a maximum of 8 guests. For each additional guest, an extra charge of €60 per day will apply.
Other things to note:
There is a separate 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom apartment located in the attic of the villa (4th floor), which can accommodate up to 4 people. The space has its own private entrance, kitchen, bathroom, terrace and a dedicated section of the garden accessible from the back. It also features separate electrical and AC systems. The apartment is rented independently, so there may or may not he guests staying there during your stay in the main villa. If you are interested in renting the attic apartment in addition to the main La Villa Italiana, please message the the owner/co-hosts directly.
There will be an additional fee to accommodate small destination weddings, ceremonies, corporate retreats, and special events, as well as commercial photography and filming. Please note that hosting these events incurs extra costs for the owners and requires special preparations. Depending on the event, it may be necessary to rent the additional attic apartment or obtain prior approval from the attic apartment guests. To ensure a smooth experience, please contact the owners for more details and obtain their approval on the event’s scope. Only registered guests are permitted on the property. Unauthorized parties, events, weddings, or commercial activities are strictly prohibited. Guests who violate this policy will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.

Cleaning fees include the provision of towels, bed sheets, bathroom courtesy products, and house slippers. To preserve the original wooden floors, walking in the house with shoes is strictly prohibited. Please note that the villa is over 100 years old. While the house is equipped with upgraded double-glazed windows and insulation tape to help reduce noise, occasional sounds from passing trains may still be heard. The rail line runs along both the Italian and French Riviera coasts, with few areas near the sea unaffected by train noise.
