“The most perfect escape for our family of 5. Kids had an absolute blast riding electric scooters & bikes. Building fires. Basketball court and play ground were a bonus! Well equipped kitchen for cooking in camper! Plenty of space in camper for everyone and we did not feel cramped. Location was perfect distance to downtown for us, not too far but drive through the mountain feels! We will absolutely be back! ”

“This experience with the host was good at first with directions and check-in information. However, she gave us the wrong gate code and when we messaged her there was no response. Even after the entire trip we still have not received a response. The camper spot was decent but very tight to get backed in. We did enjoy the campground and the people working at the front office. ”

“Location was beautiful and very clean. Host checked on us several times and are helpful and friendly. The drive to location is rugged. 4WD recommended. Bathroom is 25 mins away just fyi. WiFi was non existent but we didn’t mind. There is a dusk to dawn light that shines in your tent no matter where you put the tent but it was great for cooking and hanging out. No issues with critters either. They also have a nice grill available if you bring the propane. Overall, it was a nice trip! ”

“We've spent two nights on Thanksgiving in the Primero. It was refreshing and energizing experience. There was a lovely cat that walked on to our voices, we called her Cookie. Warm bathrooms on walkable distance are clean and everything that provided is in a great condition. The tent is equipped with a power bank, and a propane heater is available. However, there's no an electrical outlet to power corded devices, such as an electric heater.”
