The McCaskill Cottage is located in the heart of downtown Pinehurst, you’re just a minute’s walk from Pinehurst Course #2 and an array of cultural, recreational, dining, and shopping experiences.

A Tufts family original built in 1913 with a fresh renovation just for you! With its rich history and modern comforts, McCaskill Cottage is designed to make you feel at home while providing a memorable getaway. Book your stay today!

Welcome to your home away from home! This entire house is yours to enjoy, featuring a convenient washer and dryer, modern stainless steel appliances, and a stunning oversized apron sink. With two private bedrooms—one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds—you’ll have plenty of space to relax. An additional queen-sized air mattress is also available for extra guests.

Your comfort and safety are our top priorities. Our home is professionally cleaned by a third-party service that ensures all bed linens, towels, countertops, and surfaces are thoroughly sanitized.

Whether you’re planning a week-long golf getaway or a rejuvenating weekend spa trip, you’ll find everything you need in Pinehurst Village. Explore the vibrant local scene, with bars and restaurants just a short 5-10 minute walk away!

It was a perfect stay. It had everything I needed. Hosts were great communicators. Perfect for a short stay in pinehurst and close to the hospital and downtown. Will stay there again if I am in town.

Traveled to Pinehurst for a work event. The Carolina Hotel was booked up so had to stay offsite. This was a great option. Clean, affordable and just a short drive to the main conference/hotel. Only issue/weied thing was the lack of a driveway. I just parked in the front yard because their either wasnt a driveway or if there was a driveway the neighbors use it for their parking (idk). Overall I would stay here again..next time I might bring my family.

Absolutely great weekend getaway!

Went away for my birthday, and I have to say this house is amazing. Cleanliness was top notch. Everything you would need for your stay. Feels very homey, a place where you are comfortable. Nice neighborhood, quite. But plenty of shopping that can be done. Communication is key to me, and that they did. I would recommend this to a couple, and even up to 2 children. We will be back!
