“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Peaceful Getaway with Beautiful Views! My wife and I had a wonderful stay at A Mighty Oak Bed and Breakfast. The property is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and we loved seeing the beautiful view of Pilot Mountain right from the farm. The friendly animals added such a nice touch it felt warm, relaxing, and full of charm. Our suite was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. “We needed a landing spot for a long drive to the beach and this place fit the bill. In fact, many of the guests were doing the same thing. Check in was easy. Property is dated but obviously cared for. Rooms were clean and updated. Paint was peeling off the bathroom door, but it didn’t bother us. We arrived in time to sit by the pool for a few minutes but before we could do that, we had to sign a waiver. The pool was supervised by management and rules were clearly posted. “I was delighted to find the appearance of the hotel to look like a 1950's motel. It was so appropriate since we were going back in time to see Mt. Airy (Mayberry). However everything was clean and new looking. The continental breakfast was wonderful with buttermilk biscuits like Grandma use to make. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. It was a great trip and the hotel made a positive difference.”
