This place is the garage converted into a studio with a queen size bed, small bathroom, and mini-kitchen. The unit is clean and the bed is comfortable which we appreciated. However, the owner's fixation on the upkeep of her property versus prioritizing the comfort of the guests, made for an unwelcome and disappointing stay.
As mentioned in her house rules, no shoes or bare feet are allowed in the unit. However, she repeatedly asked us if we understood the no shoes rule before we were allowed to enter the unit. We were then told to not flush any toilet paper (including soiled) down the toilet because that could clog the toilet. We were also told to take care not to scratch her new fridge.
Unlike many other stays, there are no basic kitchen condiments like salt, pepper, seasonings, cooking oil, coffee beans, or instant coffee. There were a few tea bags in the cabinet.
The bathroom amenities are also minimal: shampoo, body wash and hand soap. No hair conditioner is provided. A hair dryer was provided only upon a text request to the owner.
The property advertises a washer, dryer, and barbecue grill but they was not mentioned upon arrival nor how to access them. The washer and dryer were not within sight.
As a reminder, you will be charged a security deposit upon booking which will not be returned until 14 days after your stay.
Overall, we were disappointed with the hospitality and wished we had stayed elsewhere.
