“The property at Stuart Manor is amazing. Beautiful restored home, comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom, wonderful breakfast, and such nice owners that make you feel at home. My favorite place to stay when I'm visiting family in Carlisle.”

“We frequently stay at B&Bs and this property outshone all the others. The bathrooms were all modern and very clean, comfy bed, great lighting in the rooms. The breakfast might have been the best part, however, and every day was delicious, filling, and pretty presentation. The inn provides lots of water and soft drink choices, as well as coffees and teas (all self-serve). Fresh-baked cookies every night, and self-serve wine, too! “The Inn Keeper Kim was very gracious and accommodating. We submitted special dietary requests and she exceeded our requests. Breakfast was excellent, tasty and appealing, and Kim was inviting, friendly, and informative. Kim gets a five star rating!!!!”

“I liked almost everything about the place. Clean rooms, although the shower did not have much water pressure. Maybe it was just our room. Room 311. My real complaint is that my card was charged for all three rooms that I reserved before I got there. My room was cost split with someone, but we both got charged the full price. I think we have it worked out now. I will probably still stay there next year. Also the breakfast was great!”

“The outside and parking lot are a little run down but inside, the rooms are very nice, plenty of towels and toiletries. Mini fridge, microwave and a nice TV. Walkable area in “town”. About a half mile long Main Street with a few restaurants, an ice cream shop and some stores. Needed a place close to Shippensburg without spending hundreds of dollars during PIAA States track weekend and this was perfect. ”

“Property had been renovated and is in great condition. The hotel was pretty much fully booked. Price was competitive for such a nice place to stay. Until they zapped me with a pet fee. That hurts going in and out! NYC is half; Newport RI a third; Hampton half; Marriott are you kidding for dog: I doubt I’ll use Marriott again unless no other choice, plus your gardens are full of weeds and grass hasn’t been cut for a month.”
