We were disappointed either way the property. Thus is the messsge we sent to the owner. There had been no reply. Dear George,We are now on our way back to the UK. Thank you for your support during our stay. The water supply problem throughout our stay was largely beyond your control although the water pressure pump did fail. The Villa was a disappointment. It is in a great location and is spacious and well laid out with some high quality fixtures and fittings however it is let down by some maintenance and equipment shortcomings.It feels tired and underinvested. Here are some examples;Broken extraction fan in kitchen Broken shower head in upstairs bedroom. Broken washing machine door. Numerous areas where paintwork is peeling. Dirty and old carpets. Old and soiled beddingOld and soiled garden furniture cushions and sun loungers.Lack of parasols. Inadequate barbecueOutdoor shower incomplete. Inadequate and rock hard sofa. Cracked dining chairsSoiled curtains. No handle on outside of patio doors making it difficult to open and close when using the outside pool and dining area.Inadequate kitchen equipment. Thank you for the delivery. As a gesture of goodwill we left some kitchen items including a bottle opener, kitchen tongues, food containers, potato peeler and tea towels. We feel that it is reasonable to ask for a partial refund. The villa does not live up to its “luxury “ description. Potential guests should be warned about the water supply problem
