“There is almost no where to stay in Gilmer, but this cabin was perfect. You can hear the road noise, but it’s really not horrible. We have family of 6, with kids between the ages of 1-14. Everyone had their own bed, and our older kids thought the loft was really cool. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The A/C works great. My kids enjoyed walking the property too. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family. ”

From the perfect location, beautiful home and decor to the relaxing back patio to hang out on and wait for deer to wander up. The house was so clean with plenty of towels for everyone and the kitchen was stocked with any dishes we may have needed. Host was friendly and communicated so very well. Can't wait to return!! ”

“Loved everything about this place. House was great - big enough for everyone with plenty of space. Pool table and games galore! Comfortable beds! Well stocked! Right on the lake with great views from almost anywhere in the house. we brought our boat and caught several fish! Mainly bass but also a catfish. The boathouse with the lift was a huge plus. Communication with the host was great! Check in and out was super easy. Would highly recommend!! - ”

“Another great experience at Pine Grove, peaceful and relaxing. The house stayed cool in the heat and the trees provided plenty of shade. The fishing was excellent as we caught over 40 fish in 3 days. And don’t miss the opportunity to interact with Paula and Jim. They are very nice people and very f you need anything just ask. ”

“Wonderful stay at Littlecreek Cabin! Our kind of place - off beaten path, peaceful, quiet, relaxing. Katie is the BEST host! She learned we were going to be celebrating the 94th birthday of my husband’s mom and left some birthday surprises for her! I made use of the kitchen to make a birthday girl requested homemade chocolate chip cake. We ordered food from a great local restaurant, Corbett’s Catfish & More. “Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. ”
