The best part of these Custom Floating Cottages is, without a doubt, the location. Nestled along scenic Beaver Road in Beaver County, within the peaceful and friendly River Harbour Marina, this is truly “Peaceful Life on the Water.” Our cottages are less than 30 minutes from Pittsburgh International Airport, and less than an hour from downtown Pittsburgh.

But there’s so much more to love...

Each cottage is thoughtfully designed for comfort and style, featuring:

A cozy, furnished living room with a pull-out sofa sleeper and armchair

A color-changing heated fireplace – perfect for relaxing evenings

A full eat-in kitchen with full-sized appliances – ideal for cooking and dining together

A private master bedroom with a double bed, built-in dressers, and nightstands

A spacious open loft – perfect for toddlers or extra storage

Built on an engineered floating base with composite decking and PVC skirting, these cottages offer long-lasting durability and low maintenance, so you can focus on enjoying life on the water

Outdoor space options are available too – ideal for entertaining, lounging, or simply soaking in the view

Our cottages can comfortably accommodate two adult guests, but additional arrangements may be made upon request: two children can stay in the upstairs loft, and the sofa sleeper contains a queen-sized mattress.

This is a charming little float house in excellent condition with everything you need for comfort. The listing emphasizes peacefulness but we are from this area so we know it as a bustling social hub. The locals come enjoy speed boats and pubs and there a freight train every ten minutes. We enjoyed walking to the sports bar and waving at the other river rats boating nearby.

Fisherman’s Paradise

Little house on the water with fishing right off the deck. Food is close and nice views. Trains go by in other side of river, but no whistles and it ends up being soothing.

Maybe great for some, ended badly for us.

I will try to be as fair as I can here with our review. The house is absolutely gorgeous sitting on a no wake zone of the beaver river. We had previously taken 3 trips to the marina without too much problems. The owners always seemed to have a little anxiety with us launching on their ramp. The first trip was a day trip that we gladly paid the $50 transient dock fee and was told that they let me "slide" by using their ramp. 2nd visit was an overnight trip that once again, we gladly paid the transient fee. 3rd trip, we launched down river, gladly spent $50 for a transient slip, just to pick up friends. (Probably spent 2 1/2 hours in a slip. Skip to this past weekend, we rented this place(literally a floating dock) and was told after we got there it would be an additional $200 for a dock slip? I've rented a lot of lake houses over the years, and quite a few campgrounds on the water. They've been called courtesy slips? Could have been forewarned, or added into the cost. Not our personality at all, but ended in a heated fight and we left. So.... nice place, but we wont be back.

Float your cares away!

Need to getaway? Whether you’re a local or a out of town-er, the cottages at River Harbor are the perfect place to float your cares away! We found our cottage to be very clean and had all that we needed for a relaxing getaway. Did I mention that they are on the river!!! Floating on the river to be exact! What a perfect place! There are several restaurants within walking distance. It’s dreamy. We sat in the floating deck and took in the sights…boats passing and trains. A really neat experience. Our host Patricia was friendly, easy to communicate with and accommodating. We plan to return one day.
