Welcome to your stylish and family-friendly Mt. Washington retreat, spanning the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of a historic Pittsburgh home. While not mobility-impaired friendly, the home is full of thoughtful touches and cozy corners perfect for groups, families, and extended stays.

Living & Kids Area
Enter up one flight of stairs to the main level, where you’ll find the bright and spacious living room to your left. A comfy sectional, 55" Smart TV, and reading nook set the tone for relaxation, while a dedicated kids' play area adds family-friendly function.

Kitchen & Dining
To the right, the dining area comfortably seats 8 and leads into the fully stocked kitchen—featuring stainless steel appliances, island prep space, sharp knives, full cookware, and everything you need to cook or entertain. A half bath is conveniently located on this level.

Outdoor Space
Just off the kitchen, step outside to a private patio oasis, complete with a 6-person hot tub, fire pit, dining area, and lounge seating—perfect for morning coffee or evening hangs.

Bedrooms & Full Bath
Head upstairs to the second floor, where you’ll find three bedrooms and a full bath. The king room features a decorative fireplace, while two queen rooms include desks and blackout curtains. The shared full bathroom is spa-inspired with a jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, and heated towel rack.

Kids Room & Top Floor
Up one more flight is the fourth bedroom, designed with kids in mind—toys, games, and two double beds make it a perfect hideaway. There’s also a small half bath on this floor, ideal for young guests.

Just a block from your front door, Shiloh Street serves as the vibrant heart of the neighborhood, lined with casual bars, local restaurants, ice cream shops, and cozy spots perfect for grabbing a drink or bite. From tacos to loaded fries and classic Pittsburgh sandwiches, this street has all the laid-back dining you could want—plus a few hidden gems locals swear by.

Craving something sweet? Walk over to Grand Brew for coffee and pastries. In the evenings, grab a drink at neighborhood favorites like Gordos, Bigham Tavern, or Coughlin's Law—all a short stroll away and full of friendly locals.

But of course, the crown jewel of Mount Washington is Grandview Avenue—less than a 5-minute walk from the property—where you’ll find breathtaking panoramic views of Pittsburgh’s skyline, rivers, and bridges. It’s one of the most photographed spots in the city (country!) for good reason. Whether you’re watching the sunrise, snapping pics at sunset, or taking a ride down the Monongahela Incline into Station Square, this is classic Pittsburgh at its finest.

This neighborhood blends city energy with a relaxed, residential vibe. With walkable streets, green parks, and unbeatable views, Mount Washington offers an experience that’s equal parts local charm and postcard-worthy scenery.

We recommend using Uber or Lyft to navigate Pittsburgh—it's a beautiful city with hills, rivers, and bridges that can be tricky to drive, but also incredibly scenic! If you do decide to drive, we have off-street parking for up to 2 vehicles.

1. No Smoking Indoors
Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited inside. Outdoor smoking is allowed—please dispose of butts responsibly. A $1,500+ cleaning fee will be charged if evidence is found.

2. Registered Guests Only
Only registered guests may stay overnight. No unapproved visitors may remain after hours or use guest amenities. Day visitors are limited to 4, with a total cap of 10 people on the property at any time.

3. Use at Your Own Risk
Guests accept all risks related to property use. Host is not responsible for accidents, injuries, illness, or lost/stolen items.

4. Chore-Free Checkout
No cleaning is expected or required from guests, but excessive messes (e.g. abundant stains, excessive trash) will incur a $40/hr cleaning fee.

5. No Late Checkouts Without Approval
Late departures disrupt our tight cleaning schedules. If our cleaners arrive after checkout time has passed, and you are still in the property, you will be charged $75 per 30 minutes.

6. Flexible Rebooking Policy
If you cancel outside the refund window and we rebook your dates, we’ll refund any rebooked nights—because we don’t believe in double-dipping.

7. No Daily Housekeeping
The home is fully cleaned before your stay. Fresh linens, towels, and starter supplies are included. Mid-stay cleanings available for an extra fee.

8. No Pets Allowed
To protect guest sensitivities, pets are not permitted. A $300 deep cleaning fee applies if evidence is found.

9. Children Welcome – With Full Adult Responsibility
Children are warmly welcomed, but must be supervised at all times—indoors and out. Guests are fully responsible for any necessary baby-proofing, and must thoroughly inspect any provided items (e.g. high chairs, pack & plays, baby gates) before use. Host does not
