Cottage a Plateau d'Assy

“The location of the home was perfect - walkable to the city core but far enough away for quiet and privacy. Sweeping views of the Mont Blanc massif out the front door. House/chalet was small but generally comfortable. I cannot overstate how tiny the upstairs feels, however. I’m 5’11 and was constantly hitting my head in doorways and in rooms (I eventually just learned to walk around hunched over). It wasn’t a dealbreaker but took quite a bit of getting used to. “I stayed there with my 2 sons.The property is really nice and clean everything you need is there. There were 2 beds and an extra matras on the floor for us.We went skiing in La Clusaz which is a 20 minute drive from the property.The owner is really nice and helps out with everything.”

“Beautiful place, beautifl location. It is directly under Skimium and directly across from 4 great restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.The only recommendation - it would be nice if there were electric door locks instead of taking a key with you every time you left.”

Rooms a good size except for the two beds in the basement which we didn’t use but would not be suitable for adults and would be concerned putting small children there. Upstairs space great for teens. Loved Le Petit Social and Le Paradis de Praz. Used the train for walks all along the Chamonix valley. Walked from the apartment too, one day to Le Chappeau and another day to Montenvers.
