WARNING!!!! This place is not a typical Cancun all inclusive. This is a water park and that’s all you have. Most of the guest are locals. The water park, hotel rooms and lobby are very far apart so you have to take a shuttle to get around. The shuttle is always min 10 min wait in the heat. One restaurant for dinner and one buffet. Save your time and money go else where !

My daughter and I absolutely loved our experience at Nick Cancun! Great access to the beach. Close proximity to Aqua Nick water park! And the Kids Lounge hosted fun activities. Downsides - We had a swim up pool, but the water was too cool to swim in :-( And everything is significantly up-charged! We paid an extra $300 for the Character Breakfast. The food was terrible but seeing the character show was fun! Getting slimed was worth the up-charge of $80 :-) The food was yummy at the Good Burger restaurant. It was just okay at the Bikini Bottom Restaurant. Overall we enjoyed the resort.

Asked for early check in, said shouldn’t be a problem. Check in is normally at 4 Arrived at 1 and it was, in fact, a problem. We were the first in line at regular check in at 4 & after 4:45 we got a room. Offered no refreshments during our wait… They said no cabanas were available for the entire week and when you book in advance nobody says anything about cabanas and it’s not offered on the website. You wont want to swim in the beach because it’s so rocky and choppy - it’s also probably 3ft wide. The food is awful - and limited options. The swim up pool to our room is FREEZING You have to drive to every building on site. If you walk everything is over 20 min walk. I waited with my 4 kids over an hour to get burgers at good burger. No ask about refills for the entire time. Asked to speak to a supervisor on several occasions to which never happened until I already booked another location for the rest of our time. There was long black hair all over the deck of our swim up and grossed all of us out. The toys in the shops are horrible quality & nothing like expected for it being a Nick resort. I would rather get them from target where they don’t snap apart.

Hotel occupancy was full and they clearly do not have the infrastructure to receive so many people (not enough chairs in the water park, not enough vans to move between hotel and activities, and a slower service). They should improve on those points.

I booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children age 10 and 14. At check in the hotel said my booking was for 2 adults and 2 infants and I needed to pay an additional 2300 for the children. Expedia was no help. At the hotel I met over 10 families that had the same experience. Nobody would stay here with 2 adults and 2 infants. It’s nothing for a child under 1 year to do. The check in and check out process is outdated. They write charges on paper and keep poor records when activities are cancelled then want to charge you for it. The members presentation is a scam to sell you a dream with more hidden fees. The offer rewards for going to the presentation then at check out it’s a hassle to apply the rewards to your bill. My kids had a good time but this is definitely not a resort I will return to.

The resort was beautiful. The food was horrible except for the Italian restaurant that needed a reservation which was extremely hard to get. You also have to pay for the food at the waterpark.

Wonderful, wonderful theme resort to have fun with the family. I don't understand why people leave bad reviews about this resort. Expensive??? How much does it costs a weekend in Disneyland or Disney World??? Me and my family had an unforgettable experience. If you want to upgrade your experience you have to pay extra, but i didn’t view that as a negative thing. Wherever we go we have to pay extra for luxuries, we paid for what we could afford( breakfast booth with tv and two waitresses available 😊) for one day, but the whole breakfast area is beautiful so whatever you sit the breakfast is delicious.

Disfrutamos mucho la estancia en este hotel. Las instalaciones están padrisimas. La habitación muy amplia y cómoda. El aquanick está increíble. La comida no se nos hizo tan buena, sobre todo en las hamburguesas y en el restaurante junto a la playa. También notamos poco personal en esa zona y si hace falta. Otra cuestión que sugiero es que agreguen medicamentos básicos pediátricos en las tiendas, nuestr hijo se enfermó y se acabó la medicina que traíamos y no había nada.

Don't stay here! They downgraded us from our prepaid room without explanation or refund, leaving us without enough beds and told us to "call Expedia if you have a problem with it." Had to fish out beer cans and plastic wrappers from swim up pool and it was still dirty after that. Can’t get room service. Front desk is not available and they are completely useless/uncaring when you force them to deal with you. Towels are dirty. Hotel is a long walk from lobby, breakfast, waterpark, and shows. Shuttle bus is never around. There was no explanation on available facilities and events. Daily housekeeping is just making beds and emptying trash. Ocean views are obstructed by massive concrete blocks. There's a huge sand berm where the beach should be and the beach is further unusable due to all the rocks, seaweed, and plastic garbage. Hotel app is useless. Staff doesn't speak English well. No store for baby supplies, need to order anything from outside. Entire family was locked out of our room. Hotel doesn’t provide a breakdown of room charges, just groups them all together to try and hide their over billing. Clientele is lower class stealing kids pool toys, pool chairs and throwing garbage in the pool. Front desk made us late for our airport departure insisting every disposal wristband was returned or we couldn't leave the hotel.

Newer resort with very poor customer service. From day of check in to time of leaving, customer care is 0. And every person you ask for help, says it’ not their job and ultimately, manager says they can not do anything. Main Pool for kids is about 20mins walking distance. Transport from rooms to pool is very poor and you have to wait as much as 30mins at times to get transport. Then coming back transport is same. There is no special check out line so you can wait 30-40 mins in line before people ahead of you checking in gets their turn. Yes, you have to check out and return wrist tags or they charge $100 per tag none of which is ever conveyed to you. They work with transport company name Loomis that is on property. Transport folks that are actually driving the Van are nice but people arranging your transport are rude and even more ruder if you don’t buy any extra packages from them. Anticipate to leave resort 4-5 hrs before departure time although time airport is 20-25mins away with traffic. We told manager of resort that we booked everything through Nickelodeon and not Loomis and needs appropriate timings to leave but even manager are useless & not willing to help. If you still end up there, get the cheapest room. We got room with walk in pool as it was written they are heated but they are NOT heated. So kids will likely never go in there and its waste of total $ like we did. food for breakfast lunch and dinner at buffet are same, just arranged and placed differently. 1/5*

The transportation was outstanding came on time . I had issued with food dept..i ordered sandwich n pizza second day of my stay and the food arrived after 2 hours . K we accepted . Second day I ordered sandwich and fries they said it will come in 40 min . I waited and called them to cancel it, because we had early flight to catch up next morning but they said it’ll be there in five min . I waited n slept however, nothing came In the room . The bed sheet has spot on it . It was not good. The resort should Have Nickelodeon characters walking in lobby to attract kids . There was no attractions in resort except the colors building . The transportation men’s were very helpful . Watermark was awesome too .

My boys (5 and 3.5) loved it here . It’s currently neck and neck with Legoland as their favourite vacation. The resort size isn’t overwhelming , the food was good and the property is very shiny and aesthetically pleasing . That being said, customer service is seriously lacking. Money is the priority not customer satisfaction. They wont move an inch for you, they prefer to charge you ridiculously inflated prices . I’m okay to spend money but make it make sense. Some of the drawbacks I experienced include 1)The spa was under construction and nobody bothered to inform us prior to booking us a session. I found out as I was literally in the ladies change room with construction men. No privacy, no access to steam room etc 2) Lomas Travel- The Airport Transfer company refused to put us on the transfer time we requested. They had a bus leaving for the airport 10am but they insisted we must leave at 815 or we would have to pay to leave later. Okay but why ? You have the bus , there’s space on the bus, this is supposed to be an included service. Money grab. 3)Kids club. My younger son is 3 and a half and fully potty trained . He always played with his older brother. It would have been nice to make an exception to accommodate him for free for the very few hours we used this service for . 4) Long wait times for shuttle In summary , this resort has great potential but isn’t quite there yet.
