Getaway della cabina laterale del lato del ruscello di Tenney Mountain

Una adorabile baita in cui alloggiare mentre sciate nella nuova rinata Tenney Mountain Ski Area, o trascorrete il fine settimana in motoslitta attraverso le numerose miglia di sentieri che sono accessibili proprio dall'altra parte della strada. Molta escursione e divertimento al lago nelle vicinanze di Newfound Lake da avere durante i mesi più caldi; o semplicemente rilassati al torrente balbettante del ponte posteriore coperto Costruito dal co-fondatore John French di Tenney Mountain e utilizzato per molti anni come alloggio per la pattuglia di sci, qui sono stati fatti molti bei momenti.

The cabin was absolutely breathtaking. We really enjoyed our stay and amenities. Would highly recommend to anyone. When we get to come back from Texas, we'll absolutely try to stay here again.

Cute cabin, comfortable and secluded, convenient location near many activities. They have lots of board games that would be good for all ages. The Flume Gorge was amazing and the food at Last Resort brewery was delicious.

Spring trip

Enjoyed our stay overall.Cleanliness was ok, found items under beds when attempting to store luggage. Dishwasher had been run at some point that day and was finishing when we arrived. Went to empty it and most dishes were still dirty. Not the best kitchen setup if you actually want to cook. Oven was dirty (not totally gross just not clean/ had grease pooled at bottom so it smoked), and only found one pan to use. Cabinets were full of expired items and didnt have storage available for any food guests brought.All of these issues we ran into at the beginning of our stay after having difficulty getting back to property on bumpy drive. Brushed these off though and enjoyed the relatively comfortable beds, being able to relax as a group (4 adults) in the evening in the living room, that we had 2 full bathrooms which was difficult to find when we were searching for properties, and the amount of space we had for the price. Although we were at bit concerned at the beginning, we were happy by the end of the trip.

Thanksgiving break

It was great! A perfect getaway in the woods. We didn't have the wifi password initially, and it said to reach out through the app. But we couldn't get online to ask. Could have been weather related, as the message went through the next day. Living room TV had Youtube TV, which was great. Bedrooms did not. Downstairs bathroom sink didn't drain. These are all very minor, we appreciated our stay very much and would certainly do it again!

Absolutely gorgeous views

This cabin was lovely. Plenty of room, privacy, a calming stream to listen to while having coffee on the huge porch in the mornings. It was clean, comfortable and had plenty of entertainment. My only recommendation is do not take Melvin Rd. Our GPS directed us there and we were lucky we made it. The main road to the restaurant is the best route.

Brookside Cabin Retreat

Family has a great time at the property. It is difficult to find rentals that are accepting of pets and this property was the most pet friendly one we’ve ever stayed at. They had run lines for the dogs which were very helpful. The river behind and the fire pit were bonuses to an amazing place. We are looking forward to returning

Weeklong vacation

We absolutely loved this locaction. Private, but within 15 minutes to everything. The restaurant on tenney mtn is a few minute walk for dinner on the weekends in summer. The stream was perfect for our kids to explore. The home was as listed and the owners were friendly in their communication. Tbis is one of the rare vacation spots we would visit again! Pros: air conditioning, tvs in bedrooms, location, property (yard and stream), privacy, family friendly, clean, dog ties outs, of towels and household necesseties. Cons: road gps takes you on is quite rough, no laundry.

Perfect cabin! Stayed with 3 teens and a dog and it was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful stream outback with a spot you can go into water. Great fire pit… just great place!

Communication was great w/ host, very responsive. Cabin was nice, w/ plenty of space. We were disappointed it poured all weekend so we couldn’t use fire pit or venture for a walk to the water falls behind cabin. Roads were hard to travel to get to cabin but other than that, no complaints!

Wedding trip

Different in a good way. Once you’re there it’s a blast. Road to the cabin could be hazardous but that’s the last of the problems. The peacefulness of that babbling stream puts you at ease and chills you out. Thank god for the A/C. Who would have thought you would need it the first week of September. Enjoyed the stay.

Perfect week on a great ski mountain

Loved this log cabin in the woods. Everything was as represented in the listing with the added benefit of the opening of Mt Tenney! It takes 1 minute to walk from the house to the ski lodge which gave the area a great vibe. There is a tubing park as well which is open from 4-8 pm. Fun thing to do at night. We walked over to the ski lodge pub after and had a drink to warm up. There was an excellent band playing that night. Dustin is a great host and very responsive if needed to ask a question. I want to book this place once a month I loved it so much !
