  • Una adorabile baita in cui alloggiare mentre sciate nella nuova rinata Tenney Mountain Ski Area, o trascorrete il fine settimana in motoslitta attraverso le numerose miglia di sentieri che sono accessibili proprio dall'altra parte della strada. Molta escursione e divertimento al lago nelle vicinanze di Newfound Lake da avere durante i mesi più caldi; o semplicemente rilassati al torrente balbettante del ponte posteriore coperto Costruito dal co-fondatore John French di Tenney Mountain e utilizzato per molti anni come alloggio per la pattuglia di sci, qui sono stati fatti molti bei momenti.

The cabin was very cozy and fit our family (& pup) with plenty room. It is a little ‘rustic’ but exactly what we were looking for. Grounds are magical- tire swing, a brook, fire pit. Kids say it is their favorite place we have stayed so far. Host very responsive and helpful.

Third year in a row renting out the this cabin for a golf weekend. Love staying here. Great if you’re a skier as it’s just steps from Tenney Mountain.

Cute cabin, comfortable and secluded, convenient location near many activities. They have lots of board games that would be good for all ages. The Flume Gorge was amazing and the food at Last Resort brewery was delicious.

Always a peaceful stay!

This is our third time staying at Dustin's cabin and it is a family favorite! We always make wonderful family memories and leave feeling refreshed! Great spot to enjoy New Hampshire.

Brookside Cabin Retreat

Family has a great time at the property. It is difficult to find rentals that are accepting of pets and this property was the most pet friendly one we’ve ever stayed at. They had run lines for the dogs which were very helpful. The river behind and the fire pit were bonuses to an amazing place. We are looking forward to returning

This property is located right near the Tenney Mountain resort ski lodge in that complex. It shares a driveway with one other property. Its got a wonderful fire pit next to a brook. Porch has a giant picnic table, nice size gas grill and Adirondack chairs that let you sit and enjoy the view. Living room is a great size for larger groups and easily will seat 8 . Cable tv and a well functioning ac unit made this a great gathering space. There were also lots of games to choose from. Bedrooms were good size with the master also having its own ac unit. Realize this a log cabin with rooms up top in the eave portion. Was perfect for us but some folks have issues with that type of space. I loved the kitchen. Having stayed in a lot of arbnbs this had a well stocked group of pots and pans as well as a full knife block, microwave, full stove, toaster and keurig coffee maker. There was another full size picnic table on the front entry porch. Strung lights along the front gave it a nice night presence. We had no issues with noise but were here in the summer when the ski area isn't really open.

Super Cabin Experience

This cabin is everything in the pictures and more! The owner has a well stocked cabin, lovely and peaceful property, gas grill with LP so outside cooking was easy, didn't run out of a thing! Dustin answered messages quickly, gave good suggestions for hiking trails and sights to see! Highly recommend the property! Thanks to the owner for such a great experience!

Absolutely gorgeous views

This cabin was lovely. Plenty of room, privacy, a calming stream to listen to while having coffee on the huge porch in the mornings. It was clean, comfortable and had plenty of entertainment. My only recommendation is do not take Melvin Rd. Our GPS directed us there and we were lucky we made it. The main road to the restaurant is the best route.

Wedding weekend

Communication was great w/ host, very responsive. Cabin was nice, w/ plenty of space. We were disappointed it poured all weekend so we couldn’t use fire pit or venture for a walk to the water falls behind cabin. Roads were hard to travel to get to cabin but other than that, no complaints!

The house had all the things it said it did. But the quality was very lacking. The blinds in the first floor bedroom are broken rendering them useless at providing privacy. There was no place to hang towels in the first floor bathroom so I ended up using the coat pegs on the wall just outside the bathroom. The first floor bedroom doesn’t have an official closet and the makeshift one was unreachable, had a mashup of mismatched hangers and if you hung something on the bar it would obstruct the tv. The tower of cube shelves it was attached to was stuffed with decorative pillows which was perplexing as it rendered it useless. And beware of the killer lamps next to the bed! In the kitchen the plates and bowels and glasses are all shoved in a small pair of upper corner cabinets while much more easily reached cabinets sit over half empty. The pantry cabinets are disorganized, messy, and don’t leave any room for guests to put away the provisions they will be using for the week. Overall, as I said the house had what the listing said it had. But the owner falls very short in using the space wisely. I highly recommend watching a few episodes on Vacation House Rules.

Wedding trip

Different in a good way. Once you’re there it’s a blast. Road to the cabin could be hazardous but that’s the last of the problems. The peacefulness of that babbling stream puts you at ease and chills you out. Thank god for the A/C. Who would have thought you would need it the first week of September. Enjoyed the stay.

Weeklong vacation

We absolutely loved this locaction. Private, but within 15 minutes to everything. The restaurant on tenney mtn is a few minute walk for dinner on the weekends in summer. The stream was perfect for our kids to explore. The home was as listed and the owners were friendly in their communication. Tbis is one of the rare vacation spots we would visit again! Pros: air conditioning, tvs in bedrooms, location, property (yard and stream), privacy, family friendly, clean, dog ties outs, of towels and household necesseties. Cons: road gps takes you on is quite rough, no laundry.

Perfect week on a great ski mountain

Loved this log cabin in the woods. Everything was as represented in the listing with the added benefit of the opening of Mt Tenney! It takes 1 minute to walk from the house to the ski lodge which gave the area a great vibe. There is a tubing park as well which is open from 4-8 pm. Fun thing to do at night. We walked over to the ski lodge pub after and had a drink to warm up. There was an excellent band playing that night. Dustin is a great host and very responsive if needed to ask a question. I want to book this place once a month I loved it so much !
