“We loved our stay at the Hanok house! Really cool to stay in a historic property on our visit, plus it was so cozy. The outdoor courtyard was a major plus - doubling the living space. The bathroom is across the courtyard but we had no problems with that, day or night. The surrouding area was amazing - a beautiful walking path with views of the city above, soooo many great local restaurants below. Quiet and clean. Would DEFINITELY return. ”

“This was a great place to stay with our family of 4. Each of our teenage sons got to have his own room which was a nice break during our vacation. We also got to use the washer and dryer which we needed in the middle of our trip. We only stayed here 2 days in the middle of our time in Seoul (stayed in hotels in busier neighborhoods the other days) and it was the right amount. The beds feel a little more like a futon and so they are harder, but it was great to have a little kitchen and separate...

"Abbiamo soggiornato qui per una sola notte e, nel complesso, ci siamo trovati molto bene. Una piccola nota per noi europei, poco abituati a questo tipo di soluzione: l'ostello occupa soltanto alcuni piani di un normale palazzo e, entrando nell'edificio, non si ha immediatamente la sensazione di trovarsi davanti a una struttura ricettiva. Può quindi esserci un primo momento di spaesamento. Una volta superato questo piccolo gap culturale, però, tutto funziona perfettamente. Il check-in è stato rapido e semplice e la posizione è davvero centralissima, ideale per muoversi facilmente in città. Per un soggiorno breve è una soluzione pratica e comoda, che sceglierei nuovamente"

"Excellent Location and a Welcoming Stay I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Myeongdong. The location is truly strategic, making it very easy to explore Seoul and reach the main attractions and public transportation. Despite being in such a lively and convenient area, the hotel is surprisingly quiet, which made it a very comfortable place to relax after a busy day in the city. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant, and the overall experience was both comfortable and enjoyable. A great choice for anyone looking for a well-located, quiet, and welcoming hotel in the heart of Seoul. I would definitely stay here again."

"Ottimo soggiorno, si sta' bene, zona centrale con vari mezzi, ristoranti, locali, negozi, c'è anche un mercato nelle vicinanze. Nella camera il bagno è senza porta solo un separé con la zona notte. La colazione alla carta un po' minimal, se siete amanti della colazione a buffet non fa' certo per voi. Piscina buia con acqua freddina e poche sdraio. Palestra discreta. Zona lavanderia moderna. Consigliato."

"If you are looking for a hotel that puts you right in the middle of the action, Hamilton Hotel is your answer. The location in Itaewon is simply perfect – everything is at your doorstep and the energy of Seoul surrounds you from the moment you step outside. Now, a word of advice: read the reviews before you book. This hotel is not for the light sleeper or for those seeking a quiet retreat. The music, the buzz, the unmistakable sound of Koreans having the time of their lives – it is all there, every night. For me, that was exactly the point. I came to Seoul to experience the city, not to hide from it, and Hamilton delivered on every level. Watching how Koreans celebrate and enjoy themselves was genuinely one of the highlights of my stay. The staff deserve a special mention – warm, professional, always smiling and ready to help. Easily a 10 out of 10. That kind of hospitality makes a real difference. Breakfast was the one area where the hotel could do better – fairly basic and not quite up to the standard of everything else on offer. A small downside in an otherwise great experience. Would I return? Without hesitation. Hamilton Hotel, thank you for a stay I will not forget. Seoul would not have been the same without you."
