Nice holiday

Prachtige week

Heel mooie week in dit huis nabij pollenca. Huis was in orde. Niet supercharmant, maar wel alles wat je nodig hebt. Misschien wat weinig keukenmateriaal. Zwembad en ligging, met prachtig uitzicht, waren top!

Wunderschöner Urlaub mit kleinen Makeln

Klar, man erwartet immer das Optimale und realistisch muss man bei dem Preis auch mit ein paar Abzügen rechnen. Das Haus ist für vier Personen durchaus angemessen ausgelegt. Die Gartenanlage ist auch auf den ersten Blick nett anzusehen. Leider liegen jedoch kleine Mängel vor, wie z.B aufgrund der scharf gefliesten Kanten ist keine kindergerechte Nutzung des Pools ohne Aufsicht möglich, eingeschränkte Nutzung der Spielgeräte und fehlender Sand im Sandkasten und der größte Manko war die fehlende Sauberkeit, trotz extra Reinigung. Aber vielleicht auch Meckern auf hohem Niveau. Wir waren viel am Strand und haben sehr gut im Haus geschlafen.

What a view

Everything about our stay was excellent. The property is beautiful the location wonderful but the pool and the views were spectacular. Short walk into Pollenca and all the pretty shops and restaurants, yet still a peaceful location. Definitely recommend a visit.

kurzurlaub 2023

wie jedes jahr waren wir für eine woche zum radfahren auf der insel. das beste an der finca ist sicher der pool. die küche, obwohl grosszügig, genügt den angepriesenen "luxuriösen" ansprüchen nicht. das zweite zimmer hat nur einen ausgang in die gefangene "waschküche". unsere zugegebenermassen hohen ansprüche, durch regelmässige aufenthalte in schönen fincas, wurden leider nicht erfüllt. die lage, 20 minuten zu fuss zur placa mayor und zum einkaufen, ist sehr gut.

Great Villa, great location

The Villa is clean and well equipped. The swimming pool is excellent. The Villa is 20 minutes walk from the main square in Pollenca, which has excellent restaurants. We would definitely come back again.

Schönes Anwesen in Lauweite zu Pollenca

Die Finka ist herrvorragend ausgestattet (inkl. 60" LCD) und sauber. Sie wurde wohl in der Corona Pause teilrenoviert, da in der Fernsehecke noch die Steckdosen abgeklebt waren. Kleinwenig gestört hat der Kieselstreifen zwischen Terasse und Rasen für den man Schuhe braucht. Auch wären Polsterauflagen für die Pool Liegen toll. Aber sonst war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, auch die Kommunikation mit der Vermittler Agentur lief selbst am Wochenende sehr schnell und auf deutsch. Wenn man möchte witrd man noch von den Eigentümern regelmäßig mit Gemüse vom angrenzenden Gemüsegarten versorgt.

Beautiful villa in a great location

We’ve just enjoyed a brilliant holiday in this wonderful villa. The villa was beautifully clean and we appreciated the fresh towels brought during the middle of our week. The Air conditioning worked well (one of our top priorities for a good night’s sleep) and the villa had everything we needed. Check in was super easy and Claudia at Owl Booking was very helpful in the run up to our holiday too. the pool was a huge hit with both adults and our 12 and 9 year olds - it is large enough to swim properly and enjoy the inflatables and was very clean. The pool and terrace has a lovely view across to the puig maria hill (which we climbed one afternoon - it’s worth the walk for the views.) And the garden felt very private. It was a 15-20 min walk along a quiet road to get to the centre of Pollenca - such a beautiful town with plenty of good restaurants to choose from and a relaxed but buzzy atmosphere in the evening. We enjoyed delicious ice cream, crepes, and smoothies in the town too and there’s a choice of delis as well as a couple of large supermarkets just outside the town on the port de pollenca road for getting picnic bits. The villa is well placed for exploring local beaches. We decided it was a bit hot for walking to the more deserted beaches along the coast that had been recommended to us, but the town beaches in port de pollenca were much cleaner and nicer than we anticipated and the white sand Cala Muro (along from Alcudia away from the main resort centre) was also crystal clear, shallow, and not as busy as we’d expected it to be. For a spot of sailing, we found there’s a good choice of quality boats of all sizes to hire in port de pollenca. This is our 3rd visit to Mallorca as a family, and we all agreed it was the best villa and best location we’d been to. We would definitely return.

Villa La Rafal, Pollensa

This was our first time using HomeAway and it was excellent. The property we stayed at was exactly as listed, in terms of facilities, location and the the look of the property. The property managers were helpful and responsive both before and during our stay helping us practically and suggestions g the best ice cream parlours! The property itself is beautiful. Well maintained and the air conditioning really helps with the heat! There are great facilities such as a washing machine and they provide towels and pool towels so no need to pack. The pool is fantastic and you are reasonably rural so no need to worry about the kids making too much noise splashing around. The road outside is used but traffic is fairly light and didn’t bother us. We had a hire car as it was too far for our young children to walk into Pollensa (and too hot!) but parking is easy with a great choice of restaurants. Port de Pollensa and Alcúdia are short drives away, really easy to get to. We would not hesitate to rebook using HomeAway and will look to book this villa again next year, our holiday was perfect!

Fabulous villa - comortable, modern and very well-equipped

The four of us have just got back from a wonderful holiday in Pollenca, staying at Villa La Rafal. The villa was very clean and comfortable, equipped with everything we needed. The pool and gardens were a particular highlight - very well kept and with amazing views over Puig del Maria. Just an easy 20minute walk into the centre of the old town too. The Owl Booking team were very friendly and helpful - all in all it was the perfect holiday and we hope to come back one day! Many thanks, The Butlers

Clean, modern and you won’t be disappointed.

A great property with a lovely pool. We spent two weeks with our 7 and 5 year old and to get them to the beach was hard work because the pool was so great. The only criticism if there can be one is that it would be nice to have a path to the garden as the driveway is a bit tender underfoot! That said wear a pair of flip flops! House really clean and modern but not ultra modern. Great bathroom as well. Highly recommend it.

Alles sehr sauber! Der Pool ist (fast) nicht einsehbar. Sehr nett! Gerne wieder. Wir haben die kurzen Spaziergänge nach Pollenca sehr genossen.

Lovely house for a family holiday

We had a wonderful stay here with our 1 and 3 year old kids. The villa itself is very spacious and beautifully decorated to a high standard. Some supplies had been kindly left for our arrival. The beds were very comfortable. Spectacular outside spaces and the pool, clear, clean and larger than we expected, BBQ was a bonus. The beach at Porto Pollensa is only 15 minutes by car. The only little downside I could think of is the lack of swimming pool heating but we knew about it. All in all, the house was great and we would consider staying again if we found ourselves in Majorca!

Perfecte vakantiewoning

VILLA RAFAL was immaculate, in a beautiful tranquil location and had everything we needed. Perfect.

Enjoyed the privacy and the peace and quiet. The location was beautiful and only a 15 minute walk into the lovely town of Pollensa, which was a delight to walk around, so picturesque. We didn't have a car, and that was no problem at all. Will make plans to return again as quickly as possible. It was just perfect.

A perfect retreat for a relaxing holiday within walking distance of Pollenca

A lovely clean modern villa well equipped and comfortable. Pool was lovely and location peaceful. It would be nice to make a pathway from pool to house as the gravel is a bit unsightly so maybe the lawn could be extended. Overall we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend.

Everything about this property is to a high spec. Some sharp edges in pool area which may not be suitable for children. However as a couple it was ideal.

gemütliche, modern eingerichtete Finca

Die Finca ist sehr modern und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Küche ist groß und offen zum Wohnbereich gehalten. Bei Ankunft hatten wir ein kleines Willkommens Paket im Kühlschrank vorgefunden. Auf der Matratze im Doppelzimmer hat man super schlafen können. Wir haben uns in dieser Finca sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder kommen.

Lovely villa in peaceful location

As four adults looking for a quite relaxing week this villa fitted the bill perfectly. Villa and pool were spotlessly clean and as described and very convenient to walk into Pollensa for restaurants in the evening. Dealing with Pep was straight forward and will hopefully return in the not too distant future to this beautiful part of Mallorca.
