Hotel vicino a Pope Beach - South Lake Tahoe

“Breakfast was good.”

“The best thing about this hotel is the location! It’s surrounded by nature and absolutely stunning. There is a burger joint next door and it’s only 25 min away from Meeks bay! The rooms are small and cozy. The set up makes it easy to store luggage’s , etc. my only compliant is the rooms do need better cleaning. We had spider webs/spiders on the ceiling. Beds are comfortable! Bathroom is a cute set up. If you don’t mind quaint and cozy this is a good hotel to stay with!”

“I would stay here again. It’s close enough to everything. I really liked how the building to get to your rooms was locked and you needed your room key to get in. They do have someone in the office 24/7 if needed. Even though this is on the main road, you do not hear the traffic at all.”

“Convenient location on Lake Tahoe Blvd & easy parking. Rooms have been nicely renovated, but definitely use the earplugs provided as the street noise and any talking from the adjoining rooms is quite loud. Mattress a bit on the firm side if that’s not your thing.”

“Day time staff was much more helpful than evening staff. Air conditioning worked very poorly in my room. When I first contacted the front desk and probably five men showed up to my room to try to fix this which was a bit weird since I’m a single female. The comments they need towards the end were inappropriate. Either way air conditioner wasn’t fixed. There never was a difference in the cooling of the room. On top of it when I reminded the front desk girl - Erika, that the ac still wasn’t...

“The over all stay was decent and staff was “invisible” in a good way. Available if needed but not underfoot. We were far enough off the main highway that it was very quiet. Lots of trees and shade. The thing that destroyed our stay was the fact that there are NO CHAIRS or a couch. Nothing to sit on with any back support. We resorted to bringing in our lawn chairs we were using on the beach. There was no table of any kind either. They had two small bookcase type stands and two backless...
